I met him once a few years ago and he seemed ok to me, i love listening to his show, i probably wouldn't of gotten into Opeth and Lamb Of God if it wasn't for his show. Plus the guy plays Maiden EVERY week, so he's alright in my book. But Bucko, if you've had a bad experience with him do share, i love a good scandal |

i listened to the show once and he told me nothing i all ready don't know... plus the column he writes in Drum Media is crap as well... never met the guy ... I just think he seems a bit lazy in what he does thats all... so I dont listen to FMR at all...thats just me ...

when i did listen to it years ago all he did play was the heavier sort of metal. There was a distinct lack of power/traditional/progressive metal. Its was like 4-5 grind/death songs then one song i actually liked.

Ive met the guy a couple of times, in fact I sat next to him on the plane to Sydney to see Maiden...he is a great guy. Very friendly and loves what he does, believe me he isnt lazy. He is the National Distribution Manager for Century Media here in Australia, DJs for nothing at back in the Day every Friday night, plays in his band with his brother and does this show after hours every week. He is inundated with new albums wek after week and has to attempt to get through them all in his spare time. |
