Found this at a Website recently, a direct quote; Bruce Dickinson will also pilot different Flight 666 over Europe, they are all sold out except the latest one, recently announced, from Oslo to Stockholm. Touring in South America and possibly Australia has still to be announced and it is expected to follow in early 2007.Anticipating the release, the official website released two songs in streaming audio on August 10 and 11. The album entered the UK charts at #4. Website here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Maiden

Saw it a few minutes before I posted it last night!! AMF, you missed the point it made, I didn't read that Bruce was bringing Flight 666 to Australia. What I read was that there was a potential Australian Tour to be announced in early 2007. Not getting my hopes up, just seems a little bit out of left field. Why would someone write that without a little bit of knowledge?

This is just 3rd party speculation.... I am taking Steve's comments as the guiding factor... they know where they are touring in the next 6 to 12 months...

*sigh* Not getting my hopes up. Besides having a child or getting married, this'll be one of those pinacles in my life. I've missed them 3 times in various countries, with a wife and kid, I can't forrsee going overseas for a while. Hope they make it here.

Iron Maiden had one and only interview session in late June. Interviews which are coming out now are from June, so all info might not be correct.
Why you don't ask from local promoters or EMI Australia?

There is no tour... EMI don't know anything... All bets to the contrary will be taken here...

Petition's going to the promoters HERE, not the band. There's no immediate rush as it's obvious we're not getting on the tour this time round. The petition is aimed at getting a tour ANYTIME not for a particular one. This isn't secret information anymore. Wild guess for possible Australian tour is spring ( Northern Hemisphere) 2007, if speculated European festival shows are in summer 2007. Not just Australia, but India and China etc... Wild speculations have been that IM might announce 2007 tour dates soon. EMI Australia? Michael Coppel Presents? Michael Chugg Entertainment? Start doing your homework (finding more information). Terry Butcher, former England captain, and current manager of Sydney FC, Australia has issued the following commentary to Classicrockmagazine.com: "Hopefully, I’ll catch up with them over here in ’07."
