ok, i've sort of organised. Im definitly going to go to Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane and would still like to go to Perth. Is there anybody interested in sharing accomodation there? I would like to spend two nights in Perth at least to see the place. It looks like my mates aren't going to go to Perth but if I see 4 it makes 20 and well that would be a nice milestone I think. So let me know.. !! 20 times? OMG you seen Maiden 16 times now? wow amazing milestone yes do it all the 4 reach that Maiden goal

People, Looking at the schedule with flights etc... you might want to assume they may play a 2nd show in mel/syd going from their schedule if ticket sales allowed.
The current schedule goes
4 - Perth 5 - 6 - Melbourne 7 - (Melbourne?) 8 - 9 - Sydney 10 - (Sydney?) 11 - 12 - Brisbane
As there is one day from perth to melbourne then either it is a travel day or adelaide? If we assume it is a travel day and they allow a travel day between each city then you could assume that 7th could be Melbourne and 10th could be Sydney as it would be reasonable to assume that if there were to be any 2nd concerts it would likely be Melb/Syd. Don't quote me on this as it is just a theory, I have booked my travel this way just in case... it could be nothing or different again, but I guess you just want to think about dates in the hope of giving yourself maximum opportunity if going to the trouble of travelling.

^ Elementary my dear Watson. Powers of deduction I am not saying it is right... but just that people should consider possibilities to avoid disappointment later if they didn't think of building in some flexibility.

Yep, but if 2nd shows went on sale I can hear the complaints now... "If I'd known before I booked my flight... now I can't go... "

OK just to "appear" as if I can organise a chook raffle in a bingo hall.... I just updated the first post in this thread. Please check back on it and PM me if your name's not up there or if it's in the wrong place etc. You can add me to the Sydney-Brissy trip as well. ;D It's 99% that I'd give that one a go. How awesome would it be if all (or some) of us can get into the same plane. How many ticket do we need to get a group discount? 20?

Not booking any flights as yet in case they do 2nd shows. Brisbane and Sydney are 100% but Melb is still up in the air, depends on $$$$

^I heard we can only get group discounts on accommodation not air fares? I think you're right. I just confused this with the european airlines offer I think.. I read somewhere that some european fans had been trying to get 20 people to travel together to get group discounts for airfares. Still it would be fun to have a few Maiden fans travel in the same plane..

^^ That's right. Seeing that I won't be booking a flight any time soon (still have to wait for so many things) I'll be checking around and try to get the ticket in the same flight with some other fans if possible.

Group discounts ARE available on airfares, but you must have a minimum of 10 people before they consider it. We'll get to WHEN the flights should be booked after we've got some final definite numbers on who's going where. Accommodation discounts can start from as little as 4 people in some places.
