i paid last thursday - now they say it takes a few days for an e cheque to clear ( they could have said this last week as my pay pal acc isnt linked to a credit card ) so it looks like my membership wont go thru in time cos i have to allow 48 hours for a F**king response from them. im really pissed off at the moment.

Skrabs when you log into the imoc forum go to your user control panel and then go "edit profile" Scroll down a tad till you see "custom user title" and put a tick in the reset box next to it.
I had to do that to get rid of having both "I'm an FC member yadda yadda" and the "Not an FC member yadda yadda" that was showing up UNDER my name when I posted.
Try it..
Do the reset button then go back to the home page of the actual IM website and sign in at the bottom right hand corner there. Then it should show you that FC Member piccy above it in the membership check thingimajiggy.
Then you be good to go.

now i dont have to kill anyone.
