People have been inquiring about the numbers on their tickets. Each ticket shows SG and a number, in this case i'll use Melbourne as an example.
At first glance I thought it was the door you go through, but after a quick call with Ticketek they told me that the numbers will be the group in which you'll be put in, yes the general admission WILL be devided into 2 or 3 groups, depeding on the venue.
It's pretty simple, if you have SGA1 you'll be at the front while SGA2 will be further back and so on. From memory Brisbane has SGA3 which I assume is near the exit.
If you try to jump the railing which they'll have placed in the middle of each group you'll be stopped by security. Each ticket holder will be given a corresponding color wristband for each section. So if a security guard sees someone with the wrong band, you'll be forced to go back to your original section...and any trouble makers will be thrown out.
This idea is very stupid, but I guess its for safety reasons since alot of die hard fans will be pushing an shoving to the front and alot of people will get hurt. I guess they thought it would be easier and safer to make the general admission area a concentration camp.
Apologies to the people whom I told the general admission would not be sectioned off.
At least you'll still get to see Iron Maiden, but further away.
P.S. Please dont ring Ticketek anymore about this issue, they have been swapped with call about it and you already know what to do. First in, first serve.
