Saw Saturday night fever last night. I want 2 hours of my life back! . I could actually follow the 'plot' very well, which means it must have been really really easy to understand and basic. There isn't really a plot - because a plot usually consists of a beginning, a conflict, and a resolution. This didn't really have a conflict. Just a dumb stereotype who likes dancing

I heard about this very interesting movie the other day, and subsequently downloaded it. It is an American movie called "Idiocracy". It's about this extremely average guy working for the military in 2005, and somehow gets frozen in time and it accidentally revived in the 2500's.
Funny thing is, over the centuries, the people of the world have become so incredibly dumbed down and ignorant that this average guy from the year 2005 ends up being the smartest person in the world. The U.S president is a professional wrestler, who was voted in on pure popularity alone ( *cough *cough *Arnold Schwarzeneggar* cough *cough).
Haven't watched it yet, need to author it into a DVD so I can watch it on my TV, but I think it's a very interesting movie concept (I know that the movie is based off the story "March of Morons" or something like that). Unfortunately it barely got any screen time in America (some people have gone as far to suggest its a conspiracy).
And it isn't just some pissy little indie film either, great production values. Owen Wilson's brother is the main actor (I couldn't be stuffed googling his real name). Worth a check.

rocky balboa friggin rules Yeah a mate of mine who hates any kind of sports movies, especially the Rocky movies watched it with his girlfriend on the weekend and he said it was pretty good, coming from a guy who loves his arthouse movies i thought it was a compliment. I'm looking forward to it, practicing my shadow boxing now.

rocky balboa friggin rules Your absolutley right there, Rocky was awesome! That made up for the crappy sequels. This movie had more heart in it than any other movie i've seen in recent times. An equal to the original classic. Also watched Blood Diamond with Leo DiCaprio. Very Good!
