Holy crap that was the best damn thing ever. I have just got back to my pad and i am buzzing. FTTB, centre front, man that was one rough mosh pit,i was struggling and i am absolutely exhausted. However, it was worth every moment of pain, dehydration and countless elbows to the ribs tho. I cant wait to see them from seated section tonight, i rekon it will be even better (thos flames in powerslave were friggen hot too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Absolute killer set list (which i was able to score a copy of along with dave and adrians pick) couldnt catch nickos drum sticks or any sweat bands tho  . set list: intro (churchill's speach) aces high 2 minutes to midnight revelations the trooper wasted years number of the beast run to the hills rime of the ancient mariner powerslave heaven can wait can i play with madness? fear of the dark <-ooooh yeah baby!!!! iron maiden moonchild the clairvoyant hallowed be thy name For me up front, was very hard but worth every minute of it. I was thinking about backing out of the FTTB for syd, also thinking of standing up back for bris too, but i think wen the time comes i know what ill do... put up with the pain because its freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! best show, cant wait for the rest!!!! better goto bed now me is rooted' cya all!!!!!!! |

Man, what an awesome show. I took over 200 shots. The meet up went really well, huge turn out and Sam Dunn was awesome. Thanks to Still_Life for helping me out with my crappy interview with Sam Dunn.  I'll upload afew now and some more tomorrow or friday.     See you guys tomorrow. |

Awesome show... crowd killed perth....
Went to pub in the city after the show... Rod/Adrian/Janick/Bruce and the rest of the management/road crew all showed up ;D

I just woke up and I am sore! My rib cage is bruised from the barrier. I was up the front with Stormster and co and I can say it was god damn intense, hot and unforgiving, trying to hold your spot and it only got worse as the show went on. I hjad to go straight home after the show, eat and have a shower I was that exhausted, although Stormster seemed to be in a pretty good spot, looking pretty calm in holding his gground! lol I could not believe how drenched in sweat I was after the gig, made all that much better from getting one of Nicko's sticks! ;D
The boys were in good form, not super, but very solid. The sound was a little off at times especially Adrian.
I'm hoping songs like Rime and POwerslave pick up in pace as the shows go on as they were pretty slow and careful about how they were played.
Crowd were amazing, could see everyone in the arena getting involved and i'm looking forward to plenty of beers today and kicking back in my seat tonight, I wont do FTTB again in a hurry lol

F**k me, how good was last night. i was on the barrier all night-toughed it out, probably the littlest bloke up there. ribs are so goddamn tender but it was worth it. bruce flying straight at ya- had steve on our side virtually the whole night. even scored a steve harris wristband. got on the big screen at least 5 times so hopefully i make the doco
