Good to hear you got your tixs Mitch..anything about local bands yet? I know seats are going fast esp the underage areas but plenty of GA left..so I am told

Same reason why 10 % of every radio program has to contain Australian music. Can be a bit of a bitch if you're trying to run a radio show, specially if its a small community one or something but...thems the rules. Unless they've changed em recently it still stands there will be at least one Aussie support act APRA's way of ensuring Aussie talent gets a fair chance, which all in all isn't a bad thing.

Will ask Brian if he remember's any more about the details when he gets out the shower. dont know if the rules were changed or if this was an exception as they play a 3hr set - a support would have meant either a earlier start or later finish - which in sydney anyway is impossible cos of noise restrictions. Its the only show Ive ever been to where there wasnt an australian band opening.

We got our tickets at around 9:30am and my ticket number was 1556 so id say tick sales are going well as the sydney venue only holds around 5000
