Aunty Ange and Uncle Brian would be your official guardians.
Hell we could even pass as your parents .

Front row center AGAIN for Arch Enemy HELLLLL YEEEAAAHHHHH!!! Righto....review time. First, my apologies to Sands for this.....but.... They got the line up wrong. Machine Head should've gone on first...Arch Enemy headlining. Yes, I AM biased BUT.... I'm sorry....Machine Head SUCKED. They got on stage pissed and played like it too. Guitarist kept missing notes, out of time, all over the place. One solo sounded like it was his first attempt at playing guitar. The fact he was dressed as a Catholic school girl for Halloween and the bass player dressed as Steve Irwin did NOT make up for the poor performance. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, but imo people pay good money to go see these bands play a kick arse live show. The least they could do is play their set sober and give the best effort on the night. Trivium were better than I expected... having not heard any of their recorded stuff I wasn't really expecting anything, but live they weren't bad. Not bad at all. They put on a good show. My only complaint about Arch Enemy.... FAR TOO SHORT. Should've been at least another hour of them. But yeah I'm biased so who cares. AGAIN they put on another VERY tight performance....And those are the words of some others in the crowd who weren't as die hard as I am so there ya go.... MOST IMPRESSIVE. I hope they come back to do a full tour of their own with this new album. And I shall be down front row center for that too. And so will you Miss Wrathchild. I will drag you down there kicking and screaming if I have to. Now, i know I said I didn't give a shit about the other bands on the bill, but I did actually go there with the attitude of enjoying the whole show...I haven't had a night out to see a band in months so I was just as happy as a pig in shit to be getting a live metal fix. Maybe if Machine Head weren't as drunk as skunks I would've had better things to say. To be honest, I think even a die hard fan would've been a bit disappointed in parts. Sad to say. I did notice a few confused looks among some fans. Like WTF?

Thanks for review Moz. sounds like MH slacked off that's a shame. Trivium are quite good its not everyones fav but they have a huge fan base overseas. as for AE seen them so not fussed not a fan of Anges vocals but the music itself rocks. Good to read it was fun for ya

That sucks about Machine Head, i would of been pissed off if i was there. Let's hope they can stay sober for Brissie. There is only one band that could ever play drunk and stoned and not miss a beat or a single note, and that was Pantera!
Glad you enjoyed Arch Enemy, i might have to give them a go again, i stopped listening to them when Wages Of Sin came out but i'm hearing great reports about the new album so i'll give it a listen
