Well sydney and brisbane are the first two dates on the tour so that would be why those two were announced first. Melbourne is the last aussie date on the tour.

Couldn't write a decent tune to save their lives. The shredding doesnt interest me at all, theres nothing there to really catch u, its just fast fast fats. But I am going, cause trooper is and skrabs is showing interest once again, so yeh. I havent listened to them for about a year tho lol, and cant because my computer jsut F**ked up and ive spent all day installing stuff on a different one.

Dragonforce were F**king awsome , Vanishing Point were pretty good. I think I lost a few kilos in the pit! Only downside of the night was Stormster grabbing my arse - fag. Will put pics up tommorow ( well its 2am so I suppose it will be today ! ) Oh yeah - i caught one of Sams picks - woohoo!

People remember how i said i hope it wasnt soldout? Well, IT WAS! In typical Stormster fashion i asked about 150 people for a ticket (pretty much one of the first guys i asked had only 1 ticket, so i got that off him for $20, and told skrabsta then and there that if that was the only one we got he'd be going in and not me!!). Luckily tho i found another guy who had one, so in the end i got 2 tickets for 50 bucks, score! But im never playing that game again. Seriously though, my crowd estimate was probably 6-800, definately beat the Gaelic's crowd last year. The underage moshpit was a farce, instead of people enjoying themselves it was like a stupid barging contest. I was about to hit so many of the dickheads, it was my air guitar room and no one was gonna take it away form me. Sean copped a black eye for his troubles from one F**kwit. Now to the gig, Vanishing Point were good live, worse than I expected though. They played about 6 songs, including Bring On The Rain and If Only I, most of the songs came off the Embrace The Silence album, but not the song i so desperately wanted, "My Virtue". Dragonforce played a good set to, in typical fashion got the crowd going, I hate how they show off though. Anyways half the set was Inhuman Rampage and the Other half was a mixture of songs off the other two albums. For the Valley Of The Damned and Sonic Firestorm songs, i was into it, but the Inhuman Rampage songs are just stupid shred after stupid shred with no substance, nothing to hook you. So i didn't enjoy it that much. They also didn't play Disciples of Babylon this times. Songs I remember them playing were; Valley of the Damn, Black Winter Nights, Starfire, Fury of the Storm, My spirit Will go on, Operation Ground and Pound, Storming The Burning Fields, Soldiers of the Wasteland and Through the fire and the flames (WEEE CARRRY ON!). The crowd were absolutely INSANE. I don't understand how melbourne is always thought to have the better crowds cause all the international sydney gigs i go to are absolutely insane, whereas the two BG shows i went to were only non-melbournites rocking (exc luding Anwar ). Meh who cares. Anyway good gig, cant compare the gigs between this and last year, probably equal, crowd definately bigger this year tho.
