There should be a few tix around I think. Try posting on the maiden forums as well, there are always people who have change of plans etc... Can't wait... Still 5 days until I leave oz.... 7 and 8 days now until Maiden!!!! I hope my ankle is ok by then... sprained it pretty bad today and struggling to even hobble around at moment... |

We got tix for the 22nd Special release by ticketmaster  They're seating up in block 4 I think....wherabouts are you seated? Hope your ankle gets better!! |

Well night 1 is over... show finished a couple of hours ago... what a show... After the first 5 songs Bruce was called to side of stage... and then walks back to announce that equipment has caught fire backstage (initially we were told it was a pa amp but later told it was the main power supply?). Anyway we are told they have to shut down the whole pa for 5 minutes while they fix.... 30 minutes later we get pa back.... in the meantime Bruce mimed... the guys kicked a soccer ball around the stage... and Bruce tried to use a megaphone to direct the crowd to do a mexican wave and sing xmas carols... all very bizarre... Anyway, you probably all know the stage show for this tour by now... so after the issue the band rolled through the rest of the set. I must say... as much as I love AMOLAD, hearing the whole album end to end didn't work for me... I mean it wasn't bad... but hell... when the album was finished and they played the last 5 tracks (FOTD, IM, TMTM, TETMD & HBTN) the crowd seemed to go from a 7 to a 10... it exploded... I couldn't help think what the show would have been like at that level the whole time... but oh well... One night still to go! Caught up with Azzura (Maiden) and Arise before the show buying merch etc, chatted a while before we headed off to seats just before show started. After show I bought the Derek Riggs book, the Earls court special edition t-shirt (unique xmas image with "I spent xmas with eddie at earls court" on back) and the tour program. Today at shops in london I also bought the Ross Halfin Iron Maiden photo book he just brought out and the unnoficial bio released recently as well  Anyhow... enjoy... we are |
