i'll be buying tickets tomorrow. I want seating though, I plan on drinking all day before hand and i'll be in no condition to be sweating it out on the floor..

f**king peice of shit arena, the standing area is cut into two areas, a front and a back. And the bloody front it sold out! So i'm stuck in the f**king back standing area. That just ruins the f**king gig. Why the bloody hell would you split a standing area into two? its ridiculous
oh, and did I mention that I am F**kING PISSED OFF!

I got mezzanine tickets section 32 row R, they are seats up the top to the side of the stage, not great tickets but at least they are reasonably close to the stage I guess. Who gives a F**k.

Why the bloody hell would you split a standing area into two? its ridiculous Safety is the reason. If they had a completely open floor in an arena that size at a Slayer gig, people are a chance to be crushed. It doesnt help you any, but thats the logical reason. |

The thing is, at gigs, the people who wanna mosh go up the front, and the people that just wanna stand back go to the rear standing. Mitch is right. Pits are 'safe' enough that if you don't want to go into it - you stay the hell out of it and you won't have to worry. You play with fire - you get burnt.

^ yep just like at Metallica gig at the Myer Music Bowl, got crushed after all these people on the hill behind me thought they could get closer to the stage by pushing  It was scary. Oh and congrats on getting tickets Mitch and Beetle wow  |

Mean machine are you sure? From previous experience of going to vodaphone arena its all one GA you can go either to the front one or back, but even if your in the back one its all close the place isn't that large so you have a great view from anywhere.

Well according to the ticketek website, the front part is sold out. My printed out reciept thing says GA - Rear. If you could go into either area then they wouldn't seperate tickets like that.
If you are right though, I will be over the F**king moon.
Now i've just gotta hope somebody else is going haha, I don't know anybody else who is definately going.
