3 Panthers have been selected to play in the PM's XIII against PNG at the end of the month. They Picked thurston at half and Gower at 5/8 - big mistake - Gower is leaps and bounds better than Thurston. Damn straight

it makes no sense - thurston has played more 5/8th than half and vice versa for gower - in either position Gower still kicks his arse - he will be the kangaroo's halfback.

They might be using him there just to test his fitnes cos he missed the last 2 comp rounds with injury.

Gower is out of the tri nation train on squad and the PM XIII team - has to have surgery on his knee. At least this will force him to have a rest over the off season so he is fresher for 07.

After watching the broncos, i am scared. Scared if we make the grand final, and scared at how crap the dogs played in the 2nd half, and since the storm, like the bulldogs, had a week off, i am fearing a loss and no storm grand final

agreed. but storm made a massive improvement on how they played for the last few games of the season, and the semis. so hopefully they can improve again for the grand final. it should be a bloody good game.
ive got my flights and tickets organised!

Either way i think it's going to be a cracker and i truly think they both deserve it. Will be a good game - storm deserve it more just for the fact that I hate Brisbane! Thank God there is a Public Holiday on the Monday after it here!
