f**k the referees, f**king cheats!! I didn't want to sound like a poor loser... but they way things went... if at least 2 critical referee calls had gone correctly... it might very well be a different scoreline...

I think that King's try was a try, all the Melbourne supporters have every right to be pissed off, who knows what could of happened after that. But overall Brisbane just seemed to have that extra little something and deserved to win. My tip for next year.......Roosters!!!

My tip for next year is the storm. But lets look at it this way.
- The penalty in the first half where billy slater "striped" the ball - 2 points - Our disallowed try - minimum 4 points (quite possibly 6) - Our 2nd half penalty which had the clearest form of obstruction that can ever be seen ignored right before billy slaters high shot - 2 points.
So a minimum of 8 points should have been reversed. Thus with these scores, the storm would have won 12-11. Thats all i have to say. This isnt counting other dodgy calls like billy slater goin over the touchline and justin hodges knocking the ball out.

You cant be 100% sure that the Broncos would not of responded and win the game if the try to King was allowed. Storm deserved to win the comp, but this comp is about finals and winning at least two knockout games. Thats a different kind of pressure, Storm didn't play at their fullest potential because of it. And to all you Storm fans who are Scott Hill haters, he had a great game, poor bloke though, Webke hammered him. Bring on the Kiwis and Poms both League and Cricket!

I know i cant be sure, but if u purely look at the decisions or points, thats how it is. We were cost the "chance" to win the game because as soon as they kicked the field goal that broke our spirits. We should have enver been 7 points behind.
I like scotty hill, and he definately had a big game when it counted. I made sure i made this point to Mitch! The way he played in the final was awesome, and he's been steady all year. I dunno who will replace him, and its so sad to see him go in my opinion. We can put Matty Geyer there, or someone else from our squad, but no1 has that flair or brilliance to throw an awesome cutout or flick pass.

Bill Harrigon is quick to judge Paul Simpkins, yet he still thinks he's right on the King no try ruling. He's a tool. www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,8659,20514426-23214,00.html I dont mind the fact that the refs missed the hodges knock on or the berrigan lost ball which was deemed a strip, they werent so obvious, but the obstruction play was and so was the try to matt king. Its just not fair.

You'd think the refs should be allowed to view a replay and if they have made an error in judgment say 'sorry fellas i f*#ked up, i will now make a correct ruling'. They should use their technology as an advantage and get it right, and while i'm at it these night grand finals blow

I was at the last day grand final, Brisbane vs Roosters. I prefer day finals too, but the NRL and Nine want the ratings.

other than the absolutely F**king pathetic refereeing, storm didnt play well anyway. too many mistakes were made (geyer!) and even when the broncos were getting tired, storm still couldnt manage many long runs. their attack was severely lacking and the broncos had brilliant defence all night. i really dont know how storm couldnt see that field goal coming, its was SOOOOO obvious! and they did nothing to try and stop it. how blind can they be!! anyway, being out on the ground in front of 90,000 people made up for it anyway, that was just an incredible buzz. and it was still a good weekend in sydney anyway. was good to meet stormster as well top bloke

Good to see Inglis has signed for the storm for a few more years - hes worth every cent of the 2 million he is apparently getting, still would have preffered him at penrith
