Mitchy bear, the match did have a couple of penalties that I felt weren't deserved and we did score two tries from it. The score should have been closer, but we should have won. You got to realise, once penalties are given, things such as posession are effected. A team with no posession will lose, eg. panthers

Didnt watch the Storm/Knights game, but we lost.... Earlier in the season we were invincible, apparently not. If other teams have their games on they can beat us

It's got me F**ked how we are 4th at the moment, we won't last the 1st week of finals, we just don't deserve to be there

got a nice surprise the other day - a nice little certificate from Colin Love ( CEO of the ARL ) and Kevin Rudd thanking me for being a junior league volunteer and a free double pass to any world cup game of my choice ( excluding the final at SUncorp - which I wouldnt have been able to go to anyway ) so Ive aske for my pass to be for the opening ceremony at the SFS - Australian Aboriginals VS NZ Maoris as a curtain raise to Oz VS NZ . Had to make 3 choices - that was my first my others were pool 3 final at CUA or samoa VS tonga at CUA.

We didn't play that well, but the ref denied us a crucial try. We would have won if we got that.

We didn't play that well, but the ref denied us a crucial try. We would have won if we got that. which one - the blatant double movement from Falou or the one where Slater blatantly took the warriors fullback out? simple fact is that the storm did not deserve to win and I hope Brisbane kick their grubby arses this week. The More I watch the storm play the more I dislike them - they are easily the dirtiest team i nthe comp and if it came down to a manly storm GF again I reckon I might just go for Manly ( i cant believe i just said that - i feel so dirty )

The Slater one should not have been a penalty. Billy was chasing the fullback, who grabbed the ball, dropped it and then when to grab it again, which Billy then tackled. It was one big movement and Billy couldn't have stopped in time. It's situations like that where the Ref needs to go "That was a fair movement, whether he had the ball or not".
Falou's one was a double movement though yeah. But I don't see that as dirty playing. Most people would do the exact same thing in that situation, it was worth a shot. Those thought of things happen so fast that it's just impulse, it's not like the player goes "Hmm, I wonder if I can sneak this in without the Ref noticing".

There are alot of dirty teams out there besides the storm skrabsta, A F**kING LOT. It scares me though that we have to make excuses if we lose.... We are a team that should be able to beat other teams even if the odds are against us.

never said the storm were the only dirty team, they seem to get away with it more than most though. mitch - the full back never had the ball in his hand and slater only played at the ball after he took him out - fair no try in my book. Great game of footy to watch though - if your not a storm fan that is.
