Hello there everybody, just a quick question Are we allowed to have a Iron Maiden Bootleg Section on this forum, I am not quite sure about the rules in Australia. I know that the laws are a little bit different in some countries in Europe, but they are only bootlegs I am not talking about official releases.
I have quite a few boots and are only willing to share with my fellow Australians.
Some replies would be much appreciated.

I have no problem with sharing bootlegs as long as it isnt for cash (apart from postage or the purchase of blank media to put them on ).

Sorry skrabsta, I was meaning a section on this forum for Bootlegs, where people can upload shows ands share their bootlegs with other people, sorry buddy I didn't really explain myself.

I meant more upload to the lot of you, but i suppose i can send it out to. wasnt saying they had to be mailed out, just that if that was to happen and the sender wanted the reciever to pay for postage that would be the only time any money should change hands ie not selling bootlegs. |

sorry man I would never charge money for a bootleg you just don't do that sort of thing, What I mean is I upload a bootleg to say Megaupload, store and serve or sendspace, and then post it on this site, so then everybody can download the bootleg.

Well I have got quite a few boots but only audio, I do not have any bootleg videos at all, my biggest problem is that I only have dialup, which is slow as all buggery so to upload an audio show it would take me a little bit of time maybe a day because I work as well.
Is there anybody who likes this idea because we have been given the all clear from the Mods.

I have been a Maiden fan since 1988 and just over the last 12 months or so I have managed to download some boots and stuff, I can remember years ago before the internet started to take off I was always wanting a live copy of some of the songs from the "Somwehere In Time" album becasue as you all know nothing has ever been released, the only way you heard these songs was through bootlegs.
