BDU possibly on the move

Well, hows is everyone, good I hope!
Basically, my bro has a bunch of webspace ( im not sure how much but I think it is a lot!) and has told me if I want to put a site or something up I can, I just have to get the domain name. ANyway - what I was thinking of was one of two possible ideas -
1 - Creating a board from scratch which I would have 100% control over ( no limits to smilies etc etc ) but the drawback to that would be having to get everyone to re-register which in the short term would suck and if he ever lost the space that means Id lose the forums - which would also suck.the other idea I had was creating a BDU site with all the news and stuff and space permitting a space for blogs or photo/picture galleries for people here - and I could just link these forums to that site.
Nothing is set in stone but there will be some changes either way for this site, hopefully for the better.

BTW - -Im actually leaning towards just creating a site and linking to the forums - I miss making web sites!

Any thoughts??

I would actually perfer new forums. I probably wouldn't use a website, but then again i'm not as much into reading maiden news as most people here.

Sounds good, if you need help setting up scripts for the boards, just let me know. I've set up a dozen or so over the last 8 years for gaming clans, etc.

i dont think Im gonna move the forums - will probably put a site up under the BDU name but with other areas for stuff I like outside of Maiden ( footy , project rock star , spam). The site would also be a good central point for the tour petitions that have been signed so far and a good spot to perhaps start a new one,although,it probably wont be ready in time for any tours in the next few months
This will also enable me to put boots and up for download ( depending on how much space I get - will be finding that out tomorrow )
Will let you all know when its done ,which might be a while - I wanna put heaps of bling into it!
