So will we be able to download it after the fact? Nothing on the site appears to suggest we can or that we can't. I don't know about download, but there appears to be playback/highlight features on the triple j site. Yes I saw that, I'll try to make some plans to record it. Perhaps someone else could also try to do this, just in case. |

Interesting Tidbit
According to a wreckers out in Campbellfield, Melb (where we just bought our new car...oh the irony!! LMAO) The Iron Maiden Tour to Oz got a mention on Melbourne's Gold 104 FM radio station the other day. Did anyone hear that one?
Not sure what or how much was said except the tour dates and a mention of Bruce flying the plane out here.

I heard that had occurred too, but I rang them and spoke to a program director and he said no it did not. Very strange and I may forward the quote above and maybe he missed it. Maybe he was having a leak or something. As for being old music on Gold, a lot of it is of the same timeframe or age. |

Brian was out payin the deposit on the car this morning and the dude there noticed his Motorhead shirt, so they got to talkin and Brian asked the guy if he knew Maiden were coming. He goes "Yeah I heard it on Gold104 of all places can ya believe it." I don't see any reason why someone would make that up.

I got told by a person at work who would not make it up either, but he stated that Gold FM had spoken about something that may mean the tour wouldn't go ahead, from a promoter or something! Perhaps when the director found out that I was a big fan and that is what I had heard had been said, it was easier to deny for fear of upsetting me or something. Strange though and definately untrue! |

Why would they suggest it wouldn't go ahead?? That's why I got straight on the phone and rang them. So I have no idea as such. The only thing that I can think was that maybe the Breakfast Show people (Dee and Grubby - I think?) may have been making a joke of it. Trying to be funny perhaps. Again, the director refuted that fact and stated nothing was said. |
