My understanding is that the Album should be in the stores on friday, ready to hit the shelves on Saturday. Go and ask and get them to look into it for you, then they will make sure that you get one!!

From the main article.... Q: People should check the World Slavery tour schedule.S: Unfortunately this is a problem for our younger fans that haven’t seen us live many times. But we can’t do anything about it. We can’t do long tours. Nowadays flights are cheaper and a fan has more chances to catch a plane to see us. I know it’s a problem, but we can’t do anything about it if we want to keep going.Q: In this way you also avoid to be seen live too many times, as it has happened with Saxon, that play in every European festival year after year. S: You are completely right. We are going to get loads of shit for not playing in Portugal – especially myself, as I have my second home there – or in Belgium, Greece, Australia and all those other countries. But what can you do? You can’t please everybody. Some people aren't going to like this one...

wHAT A LOADS OF HORSE SHIT. Why cant he just come out and say " We dont want to tour anywhere we cant make a massive profit." FLights are cheaper nowadays? ? Maybey if your in Europe and only have to fly for 2 hours. Its comments like these that really make me feel like just giving up on this band.

Well we need to keep in mind that interview would have been in english, published in spanish for a spanish magazine, and then translated back to english for the transcription.... alot of times when that happens, the words can come across very blunt.
Still, the message is no surprise, its no different than what the band has been saying for a long time really.....

Q: If it wasn’t for the private jets, would you have continued touring?
S: When touring becomes a problem you realize that you don’t want to do it. Now we enjoy touring. Due to our popularity, we should be playing much more shows, but we can’t anymore. Now we play in certain cities one year and in different cities the following. Perhaps people would have to travel to see us live…yeah right..I'll just pull out 10 K from the bank tomorrow and take off to see them

That is disgusting and absolutely offensive to come out and tell individuals to fork out to travel to see them. Steve must be up an ivory tower somewhere. I hope I DON'T meet him now. I would seriously spit on him. Just because there are some nutters who are having crises and decide it's a good idea to get personal loans so that they can see a band before its members die of old age, you can NEVER EXPECT people to do that. I AM OUTRAGED! Flights alone, the cost to an individual is just unfathomable compared to such costs to a corporation like Maiden has become

Earl's court is just down the Piccadilly line on the tube from where I'm living....takes about 20 mins.... ;D
But yeah,....I think I will give Steve the benefit of the doubt....since it is a translation from Spanish or whatever... But the comment is a tad on the nose.... Why the F*ck didn't Maiden get on Gigantour with Megadeth?? and Go downunder..... bring Priest too and Metallica....you would fill stadiums!!
