i cbf listening to new bands. Im stuck in a musical rut and i f**king love it good for you dude, your enjoyment of the music is all that matters at the end of the day. Trivium are like the musical equivalent of horse shit. It's shit, but they um... oh wait there's nothing good abuot it ;D That tiny little picture of hte MCR guy made me crack up. And then the guy on the next page in the same spot, Matt tuck, said ' i only heard maiden a couple of years ago' and i thought, where have you been? under a maiden-proof rock?

I disagree.... Trivium has some real jaw dropping riffs. Yeah the vocals aren't the greatest....but they are one of the only new bands that actually bring something new and exciting to the genre....
I give credit where credit is due

Great Article, thanks for Posting it. Don't give a damn about the other bands, generally only listen to Maiden when I'm listening to Music. Anything else doesn't get a look in.

I give credit where credit is due I like to keep up with the current crop of bands and yes most of them are shit but Trivium have some real potential, unfortunatley they are getting labelled metalcore which baffles me. Plus what is wrong with the vocals, has anyone ever heard Dave Mustaine!!!!!

Dave's vocals are much better than Triviums.... second'ed! Dave has attitude and an easily identifiable voice - with Trivium if Matt Heafy isn't doing a slipknot-esque growl, he's got a mundane normal voice which would better suit some watered down emo group. Their non-singer guitarist is very skilled though. He has some tight leads, but i dont fancy them enough to start listening to Trivium, too many cons outweigh the pros. They are better than Avenged Sevenfold, though.
