A little bit. I have a two questions for you: Where did you get those dates you posted? I'm trying to avoid taking at face value a list of dates someone just types up. I'm actually looking for some sort of evidence that backs it up. Now, the two images you posted are helpful and are exactly the kind of evidence I am looking for. What is the Melbourne picture? Is that a flyer, a program cover, or is it something some fan made for his own purposes? Please don't misconstrue my investigation into what you shared with me as ingratitude. I am very thankful you are taking the time to help me out.

I can guarantee those dates are correct. I also know my Maiden history and know that they never cancelled or rescheduled a gig in Australia. But they did cancel a show in New Zealand in 85 due to a strike at Brisbane Airport. I will check my tour programmes after work.

But they did cancel a show in New Zealand in 85 due to a strike at Brisbane Airport. I will check my tour programmes after work. Thank you for vouching for the dates. But, here lies my dilemma: I cannot take someone's word without documented proof (associative memory is accepted in small doses). That's what is expected of any academic research, and my research is part of my university work. So, in order to present this for publication, I need to be able to have some sort of evidence that proves the dates as correct. Now, a lot of people vouching for certain dates being correct is better than nothing, but it doesn't hold as much weight as a ticket stub or nearly as much as a published concert review. Again, I appreciate the help!

A friend pointed me to this thread to see if I could help. I don't know if I can really help you too much. I don't have any Australian tour ticket stubs, but one of my friends has a laminated Fear of the Dark tour poster, and I have a number of Australian bootlegs, but it looks like you have filled in the gaps with those anyway. I know Robert Skoog and he is about as good as you are going to get with that info.
If you need ticket stubs for non aussie shows I can scan in the following for you:
1999: Paris, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Essen and Stuttgart. 2003: Madrid, San Sebastian, Imola, Zlin, Burgen, Friburg and Paris. 2004: Osaka and Tokyo

The bootleg cover is considered a secondary source, so I can't use it, but the pass is a primary source and has value in my research. Thanks for sharing that.

Plus, I'll happily take scans of any of those tickets I don't already have posted at maidenshows.ryasrealm.com/masterlist-tickets.htm
