Out of interest I rang JB Hi-FI who I had asked to keep me aside a copy of the album.
From all the posts here it sounds as though they have been touting Australia wide that they would definitely have it in store....
"Um... unfortunately no, we got a memo with a big apology from EMI, it wont be in until mid next week".
I cant imagine how embarrassing that would be for Utopia Records, who were having local band Lord (i think) play live Maiden covers and had giveaways and everything....
Lucky I swallowed my pride and doanloaded... otherwise I'd be a very cranky man right now.

Man that sucks the big one, i start 12 hour shifts next Monday so it looks like i'll have to send Mrs Damage to go get it whenever it turns up. Boo, Boo i say.
I can't take it any more.... i'm downloading now.......

I've spent the morning driving to all 6 shops that even up until yesterday assured me the album would be in. Some of the replies i got when i asked when it would be in where maybe Monday, maybe Tuesday, mid week, soon and my favourite.... dunno (with the shoulder shrug). I know it's not the stores fault but why didn't these morons tell me this YESTERDAY. Some idiot from JB even told me he had it in his hand when we spoke. Oh well, at least my Beenjamin Breeg single finally came in today. As me mum always tells me....good things come to those who wait  |

During my travels across both sides of Melbourne today I have tried about 6 shops across 3 brands and no luck... same responses as above... i thought you must have been able to pick the album up yesterday after getting the scans of the booklet from you last night. |

Nope... spoke to EMI again today... the person I have been speaking to said they didn't know that Melbourne wouldn't have stock... Those scans were from someone on IMOC. |

I went to JB today, there was a note up saying delayed until mid-week.
I then went to HMV, no sign of it at all. I asked the chick at the desk who told me Monday.
She also suggested I put my name down for the limited edition now if I wanted it, as stores only get 4 each and 3 of them have gone already (I wonder if she was the same person who said he had the album in his hands right now GGRRR what and arsehole he was!) So I handed over the cash and walked out with a bit of paper... i feel confused now.
