I think I try to relax even that I'm pissed off about Melb. I try to sort out tickets to that show later.

Got my tickets for second show about an hour ago (4.30pm) Just managed to get Lower Silver tix in section 23, took a while to get them, all it would give me first up was upper section right on the side. See what happens when a metal band gets some decent promotion, Dainty have done an awesome job promoting this tour  |

Paul Cashmere of Australia's Undercover News reports: Following IRON MAIDEN's rapid sell-out within 25 minutes in Melbourne this morning (September 27), Sydney was also quick to respond with a sell-out show at Acer Arena within an hour.
Promoter Paul Dainty said, "Sales have been phenomenal. Ticketek advised me this morning that the queues have been the longest at their ticket outlets for any on-sale for ages."
Sydney will likewise now have a second show on Sunday, February 10.
According to Dainty, the second shows for Sydney and Melbourne will definitely be the last of the IRON MAIDEN shows added to the Australian tour because of limited time in the country.
The Somewhere Back In Time World Tour 2008 will see IRON MAIDEN perform major concerts in 20 selected cities on five continents in seven weeks including India, Japan, North America, Central and South America, and, of course, Australia.
Somewhere Back In Time - Australia 2008 dates are as follows:
Feb. 04 - Burswood Dome - Perth, Australia
Feb. 06 - Rod Laver Arena - Melbourne, Australia

Ok, heres my story. Some pinko bumhole called Wrathchild rings me on a private number, so i dont answer. Then i check her message so i ring back, i nearly crashed twice driving to ticketek cause i was so sleepy. Bought Moz, hubby of MOZ, and myself gold seats for melbourne, F*** are we gonna air guitar hard! There $450 down. Then i hear second show is sydney goes on sale 11am. F*** me dead! I call Wrathy and Moz and tell them to tell the F***ers on BDU! Just got interrupted by another fone call just then lol. Anyway, then i ring big john and tell him second sydney show, woke him up too lol. So we go back to his house, i sms every1, try ring every1! F***ign hell turn ur phones on and answer them people! Anyway me and john buy awesome silver seats for sydney, section 5, row M. F***ing killer. Eventually after 15 missed calls trooper rings me back, managed to get him row O in the same seciton. We're gonna be F***ing going hard! I think ive spent $50 on phone credit today alone. Ive withdrawn $800 bucks. I got paid yesterday, was close to 2k in the bank, now im at $900!!! F*** me dead, its worth it tho. Maiden!!!!!! I appreciate your efforts, very much and thanks for the offer. I bought Silver Lower for Melb2 The jury is out on Sydney at this stage. |

Golly Gosh  That looks amazing! Just got off phone to TT Melbourne tickets silver upper back only available for 2nd show all other seating/floor is sold out!  Sydney only a handful left! (Maybe they get told to say that) |

What a day... 11.30am - I was having a hectic time at work (cos the in-charge girl decided she wanted to get sick today) when I accidently took a glace at my mobile and noticed there's 1 new message but didn't have time to read it. 12.05pm - Got a tea break checked the message and nearly had a heart attack from over-panicking.. Called my mum to get a pair of tickets for the second Syd show...Then, several minutes slower than everage human being, REALISED THAT THE TICKETEK OUTLET'S FREAKING 2 MINS WALK FROM WHERE I WORKED!! I raced to the newsagency with a creditcard and WITHOUT MY MOBILE... (Sorry Stormy you must've called me right after that :  12.10pm - Tried to get a decent Melb seat but all the good ones were gone so I took the best gold seat I could get without considering that I could just get a decent silver one! 12.15pm - Asked the girl to check the ticket for 2nd Syd show and found some great seats so I bought them.... then realised I'd asked my mum to get them and was about to call her and tell her not to worry about my tickets...then realised I didn't have my mobile with me...  12.25pm - Back to work 10 mins late, forgot about calling my mum 2pm - Called my mum and found out she'd bought 2 Syd tickets...Just to make it worse her seats were just as good as mine... 2.10pm - Went to the outlet and asked of I could return the tickets I just bought...no luck with that.. **I asked the girl to check out the Brisbane show and 85-90% of the tickets were gone. Now I ended up with one extra pair of Syd gold seats...the damn good ones.. What should I do with them...?? |

Damn I missed whole thing!! I was yesterday at Helsinki and I was driving back tonight (it's 9:36 AM in here right now) so I wasn't able to get on the internet. Well there's still gold floor available at Sydney but I couldn't reach vbuk with my phone, argh. I just might purchase those tickets anyway. OHHHHHH SHIT!!! I HOPE IT'S NOT TOO LATE GET EM GIRL! GO! GO! GO!!!! edit: OK so I've learned that I should read the ENTIRE thread first before I post  Glad you got the Sydney tix and good luck with the Melb ones |
