Just read on www.blabbermouth.net that the next single is Different World (surprise, surprise). It's released in the US on the 14th of November and Europe on the 13th of November. Not sure which 2 covers chosen will appear as B sides

Good cover but Different Worlds sounds like it was a song made to get radio play/be a single.

Pics of the front/back cover and disc have been circulating for a week or so. What records sent out an email to order a US copy about a week ago, but apparently the track listing was to be DW with the live tracks that were on the Breeg single (US didn't get Breeg single) so there is some debate over what the US release is... if there is a European release at same time then tracks will be different. By the way, the images of the above single show it as a one track promo when you look at the song listing... so it doesn't confirm a European release yet (or what cover songs would be included)...

From IMOC:
Different World to be released as a single As they open their A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH world Tour in America today, Iron Maiden announce DIFFERENT WORLD as their next single to be released as a very special tour Souvenir in Europe, with exclusive new B sides which were recorded at the end of the album session at Sarm West Studios in London. Three spectacular formats will be released in Canada, The UK and Europe on 1st January 2007!
Meanwhile, for the first time ever there will be a commercial single release in America, and Sanctuary Records US are to release Different World on 14th November featuring Radio 1 Zane Lowe's Legends Session of 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' and 'The Trooper' as B sides. These tracks have previously been used as B sides to 'the Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg' which was released in Europe in August and although it was not eligible for the UK chart it reached No 1 in Spain, Sweden, Finland and Hungary.
There's a stunning promotional video full of animated action packed adventure to accompany the single, directed by Howard Greenhalgh - you'll see exclusive clips and the debut airing here at ironmaiden.com first - but to wet your appetite feast on this...

Just saw a 7 second sample from the clip. Looks like Ed Hunter/Wildest dreams graphics, but it's hard to judge on only 7secs.
