I was reporting them under the "Inappropriate Want It Now Post" or whatever it is.

Quote the actual price of the ticket on offer. And I think there's something written on the ticketek website somewhere stating it is illegal to sell a ticket above face value, and should they be, they risk the ticket becoming void or something like that. Find it in the FAQ on ticketek.com and quote it in your report as well, with reference back to the page link on ticketek.

Put it this way the more work you do that ebay doesn't have to...the quicker the tix may be pulled.

Selling tickets for above their face value via auction sites or any other unauthorised means is in breach of Ticketek's Terms and Conditions of Sale. Any customers found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions may have their tickets cancelled, their My Ticketek account closed and their credit card black-listed by Ticketek.

If you can't attend an event for legitimate reasons and want to sell your ticket via an online auction site, Ticketek will not object to your sale as long as the selling price is no more than the face value of the ticket. For example, you can use eBay's Buy Now function as long as the ticket price is set at face value or below.

Anyone who buys tickets for more than their face value via auction sites such as eBay runs the risk of being turned away at the event because those tickets may be invalid, or because they may not be authentic Ticketek tickets.

Ticketek seeks to cancel tickets sold for a profit to counter the growing threat of scalping which limits the general public's access to affordable tickets. The policy of cancelling tickets reduces the market for scalping which provides a disincentive to any unauthorised reseller to breach our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Every ticket that Ticketek cancels is put back on sale to the general public at its original price.

Ticket scalping reduces the pool of tickets available to the general public, undermines the public's confidence in the ticketing process, and compromises event promoters' ability to appeal to broad audiences and ensure equal distribution of tickets to genuine fans.

To counter this unfair practice, Ticketek, in conjunction with the event promoter, reserves its rights to cancel scalped tickets without refund and to resell them at their original price through authorised sales channels.

Make sure you inform ebay that by allowing these above face value auctions THEY TOO are in fact in breach of Ticketek's Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Then sit back and watch em get pulled one by one. mwaaaahahahhaahahaa

Bonus with this is.... even if ticketek DON'T cancel the tix and put them back on sale to the public at face value...these scalpers may end up with a bunch of tix they can't sell before the gig, and MAY end up having to sell them out the front for LESS than face value just to get rid of them and recoup some of their losses. They will have made an overall loss on their original investment that way, and may also discourage them from the scalping business in future.

^I already contacted TT regarding this matter and Dainty they sent me that letter I posted up in the rant thread. TT can't do anything as it needs to be reported by the actual promoters, and ebay couldn't care less there is money to be made by commissions on sales! There is constant tickets for sale on Ebay we can still report them, I'd like to see the ones pulled down once its done how do we know?

Still no tickets. My boyfriend got his to UK already last week.
I think mine will take time 'cos they emailed me and ask my full address details. Which was weird 'cos I gave them full address details when I orderder those tickets.
