I thought it might make sense to have a seperate thread for tickets

There appear to be 2 pre-sales:
1. via IMFC/IMOC on 20/9
2. via ticketek on 25/9

General public on sale : Thu 27 Sep, 9am
A pre-sale is an opportunity to secure tickets prior to the General Public, not a preferential seating service. A selection of seating throughout the venue is made available for pre-sales.
* or until pre-sale allocation is sold out.
On sale times are quoted in local time.

The tickets through the fan club will probably be better at least as good as the pre-sale ones...

no costs are listed on the site as yet...

For Iron Maiden FC pre-sales, you need only join IMOC (USD14.95). IMFC members (25 pounds) also get pre-sales but must ensure that you fill out the registration to activate your IMOC membership (free once you have IMFC).

You'll be sent a presale code via Private Message, probably on the 19th. You'll also get a link to the ticketing site. Put the two together and voila.

Nearer the actual day, I'll confirm exactly when things are being sent - you'll have all the info in good time.

The fc presale lasts several days, we won't be selling out the venue to FC only so I wouldn't worry too much.

Aussie Pre-sale Info
We'll put all this in your PM with the code later tonight, but in the meantime:

Ticket prices: $150 / $99

Your pre-sale code allows you to log in TWICE only. We would advise that you purchase all your tickets in one transaction.

You can buy up to 8 tickets per concert.

You can mix seated and standing tickets in one order.

If you want the very best seated tickets we recommend you buy as early as possible.

Please note that if you want to take part in the First To The Barrier draw, you must buy standing tickets from the GOLD section.

Overseas fans - you can either have your tickets sent to you or collect them at the box office. We would recommend collection if you're travelling.

Wheelchair access - because the individual venues handle this differently, you cannot buy disabled access tickets via the website. But if you email your contact details and ticket requirement to Ticketek directly (address will be in your PM later), they will liase with the venue and make sure you get your tickets. Remember, we have 5 days presale for the fanclub so there’s plenty of time to get your tickets sorted out. Contact Admin if you have any problems / queries about this.

Good idea . Regarding tickets ok its been asked but if you join IM fan club do you still have a chance of early tickets or it takes awhile to set it all up?

I was thinking the same thing, would it be worth joining in the next week or so to get some of those awesome tickets...?

I wonder if they will be better then the pre-sale General admission (or floor whatever) tickets??? probably would be as the Fan Club usually looks after the fans VERY well (or so I have heard) - good old Laz...

Fan club doesn't control the allocation... At Earl's Court last year for both shows I was halfway along venue on side... I booked as soon as they went on sale for seating...

I could choose seating or floor/GA... would assume this would be the same.

Not sure what the allocation per member is yet, but it'll be at least 4 tickets per member, per gig.

Sit back, relax, the pre-sale doesn't start til the 20th. You'll be PM'd your codes in plenty of time.

Just go to the offical Iron Maiden forums...make an account. Then pay for the all access areas using paypal. You will then be a member of the IMOC. This is all you need for pre-sale tix. It was 14.85 US to join.

Well i ended up answering my own question The online membership, which is all you need to get the opportunity for the speical tickets is $18.42 Aus based on todays at .80c Aus to US dollar.

I decided to go one step further and purchased the full Fan Club memership for 25 Sterling which on my credit card worked out to be $59. You get sent some stuff in the mail if you do this one... I have always wanted to be a full member but never got around to it...

Click through fanclub/join on the main page of IM website and follow links to join IMOC. IMOC is all you need and cost for 12 months is british pound 8.50 or USD$14.95.

If you join now you should have no issue in catching presale.

So you bought IMFC just now?? Did you get you IMOC registration straight away? or do you need to wait...
