OK so we know there coming but what are our chances of meeting them. What is our best chance at airports but seeing as they are flying themselves will they come through the normal terminals? How can we find out when there due in to land? Hotels how can we get info on where there staying? After show party's will they have em and where? My biggest dream is to meet the guys it would be truly amazing!!!!!!!! CHEERS PEEPS  |

Just hunt around the city like i did in 92, i was in Drum Works and went outside for a smoke and as i'm having it i just happen to look down at the traffic stopped at the intersection and there is Nicko in the passenger seat of a car. They then drove right up to me and turned into the alleyway next to the shop, as they drove past slowly i said Hi Nicko and he said Giddy Mate!
The next 2 hours was unforgettable!

I doubt they will do any instores etc... they don't seem to nowdays. I think you would have to "get lucky".

The amount of people i've met just wandering the streets, Steven Tyler, Kevin Costner, Nicko, Bob Geldof (who had the worst BO), Billy Zane, Vince Neil, Igor Cavallera, Zack Wylde, Tom Morello and Zach De Larocha.
F**k, i even saw Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz in the botanical gardens. I'm gonna do the tourist thing and hopefully i will get lucky, it's worked before.

I would be surprised if they don't do meet n greets for each Gig, they did in 92..
or at LEAST some function for Fan Club members, that is the norm, even if it is only a 2 hour thing...
dunno, they are a lot older now and might prefer their privacy..
I am trying to get info in this area from the promoter... will advise as soon as I hear anything - promise !

Imagine going to the airport, waiting around, and seeing a plane land that had the words "IRON MAIDEN" on it. I think id have goosebumps and be close to faintly, then id run in the direction the plane was going lol.

So who can find arrival times? you wont be able to meet them at the airport - they will have special customs deals so they can be met on the tarmac then go straight to wherever theyre going. best bet is to try and find out which hotel theyre in and wait around. |
