Basically, the reason Stormster and I couldn't get Sydney tickets was because we did Brisbane first (1 log in), went to do Sydney (1 more log in), then wanted to change our Sydney ticket delivery method, which involved completely removing it and trying to add it again from scratch (1 more log in). Of course when it came to that 3rd one, it had expired, and we got rogered up the arse.
Stormster was pissed off immensely, I was upset, and got considerably more pissed off as the day wore on. Come 4:30pm, it had festered to the point where I did what I don't normally have the balls to do... ring up and complain.
Rang up Ticketek, got a system that tries to analyse what you want by what you say... I asked for "Complaints", it thought I wanted tickets to "The Police". Thankfully, when I said "No" when it asked if that was correct, it put me through to an actual person.
I said I had a complaint, they asked what it was. I basically told them what I said in the first paragraph in this post, but much more long-winded and rant-sounding.
Instead of trying to argue the point with me, he was quite apologetic and understanding. But, as I expected, the only real thing he could do for me was submit my complaint to the proper place within their business. The complaint he submitted focused more on the part that went "couldn't editing existing items in cart, was forced to remove and re-add, which required the code entered AGAIN, which cocked things up".
The limited number of log-in times wasn't a main focal point of the complaint he submitted, because from what he said, the limited number of uses per code wasn't a choice made by Ticketek, but rather by the Iron Maiden Fanclub itself.
I have no idea how true that is, though. Could've just been blowing smoke up my arse.
So since I am obviously stuck until the normal presale, anyone mind telling me how I can get in on the pre-sale at Ticketek in time? Do pre-sale tickets cost more or something? Any information will be appreciated.
