Brilliant show, in fact it was the best Maiden show i've seen. It was a surreal experience. My throats gone and i'm sore as shit but i can't wait to do it again tonight. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D btw: have you washed your hand yet Susan? You lucky lucky girl  |

I still think 2nd melbourne show was a little better, but i didnt drink down there so maybe thats why. Also, i had seats that night and didnt have to fight people off.

I thought the sound wasn't as good as melbourne but that could of had to do with where I was standing. The crowd, performance and atmosphere was definantly better in Sydney though, i'm so freekin tired now man tonight is going to be hard

I only got back (home) yesterday from the 1st sydney show and I'm keen to show my delight on the experience of the show!.
Anyways this was my first maiden experience and I had an insaine night, the best time ever!, I now understand why maiden fans tour with the band and try to attend every show as the experience just can't be beat and you just dont want it to end.
I was situated about 7-8 people behind the FTTB people on the right hand side in front of rightside mic (janicks side) - in a tailgunner shirt (changed my mind on the shirt at hte last minute, anyways so when Maiden rushed out on aces high I got a great view of Steve going 120% and singing away - What a first impression that gave, as my sole experience that I wanted to have was to have Steve come out and sing to me (us) behind that monitor/speaker - bloody awesome!, all the guys were on queue, the stage was magnificent and the lights were just impressive (as everyones pictures show), my friend has the cmaera with our pictures on it, so I'll upload these when he gets back from Brisbane - Also all of the band had smiles on there faces and laughing throughout the concert whilst always talking to the fans through out, especially with Janick pointing to Davey, saying "not me, him".
Bruce also placed an eddie mask on the back of his head an tried to be like eddie.
It was also awesome to see the crowd kept bruce silenced for 1:30minutes whilst the rest of the band either swapped guitars or tunned them, Bruce just seemed flabbergasted by the response of the fans (but I can't compare this to other maiden gigs - lol)
FOTD was truely insaine as that was the song that I personally wanted to hear on the night, I also lost my voice during this song as I gave it 150% as I was only giving around 120% on the other songs.
They were just none stop from WO to GO - F**king insaine!!!
anyways I had a great time, so thanks maiden for coming downunder and giving us the FULL MAIDEN EXPERIENCE!!!! - I truely can't wait for when they come to Oz next time - even thought they haven't left Oz yet or even finished this tour for that matter - I think I'll try to get to every concert next time around - also thanks to everyone here (I know I dont post very much) but I read heaps on whats happening.
