Greetings all,
As some of you may know I've been in contact with the people behind the Headbanger's Journey documentary for the last couple of days. I've been discussing the concept of filming the meet-up for the purpose of the upcoming Iron Maiden documentary, which I assume will be released after their tour.
I am pleased to announce that Banger Productions, the team behind Metal: A Headbanger's Journey will be filming the Iron Maiden Melbourne meet-up on location at the Corner Hotel on the 6th of February 2008.
I'd also like to add the the entire first Melbourne show will be filmed.
SO GO NUTSS!!!
UP THE F**kING IRONS!!! HAHAHA!!
Told ya I could do it ya C***s. haha!!
Cheers for everyone who helped me out, I'll do my best to thank you on the day.
More information will be released once a press release is issued by me and my team.

That's excellent BTG! Indeed. Just so you know its planned, but not 100% official. I got a e-mail not to long ago saying there still working things out. I thought they already set it in stone, but I guess the producers are still working some knicks out with the Corner hotel. I'll let you know more once the information is released. But things are looking good, I dont think there is anything to worry about.

Great work BTG I gave them the link to BDU also. I filled out my survey and sent my photo in so they should be able to spot me ;D As for who has done more over the other and so on, I think we all have contributed to this massive Maiden meetup whether it be bringing more members on board, more people to the myspace page, advertising bdu or simply E-mailing the company, lets all enjoy this Maiden meetup and make sure to *scream for me Melb* on camera ;D ;D

What about the work Crossy did to really start the ball rolling...? There was a petition by MaidenOz too! As I said on the first post I'll thank everyone personally on the day. We all worked together, so we shouldn't start a popularity contest on who should be thanked the most. We all did our part and worked our asses off, including me getting the idea out to the film crew and of course the petition for the Aussie support. But as I said before, I'll get everyone who got involved and thank you personally on the day.

^I don't see why BTG should thank everyone personally, he is right tho its not a contest, we all did different things in different areas lets be grateful this production team is considering us for their dvd
