I love Ripper's voice!!! Iced Earth arent my favourite band by any means but F*** they are consistently awesome!
EDIT - far out Iced Earth rock. Havent listened to them at all really for around 3-4 since my high school days, not religiously anyway, but F**k they rock! I love The Reckoning!!

Iced Earth are great, I'll be buying their new CD when it's released here. I still like their older stuff better though, hmm, I'm a bit like that with Maiden also.

this new album melted my face and just blew me away first listen. Not many albums have such an incredible impact to me anymore.....

I've been listening to the new album for a couple of days and it definately has some awesome parts, but there's a fair bit of mellow, tension building stuff too. My honest opinion is that this is the opening act of what's gonna be a kick arse Part 2.

Downlaoded the new album, too much filler tracks for me. Iced Earth are cool but gave the album a full listen and it hasnt caught me yet, i like the Barlow years better.
