I dont like it - its not my style of music. Dont like the drumming or vocals. Everything else is alright, but still nothing i will get excited about.

It's thrash metal which you DON'T like anyway so I'm not suprised. I never intended it to be overly melodic or power metal like in any way either. As said in the first post, it is thrash metal so if you were to like it, you'd be into thrash first anyway. There is also a chicken in it that appears on the side of the player which I uploaded personally for your enjoyment.

Well ok, maybe thats a bit blunt, while Metallica are classed as thrash, as a whole they don't actually have the usual thrash sound. While they have their thrashy parts, they aren't entirely a thrash band.
People will argue with me on that though.

While they have their thrashy parts, they aren't entirely a thrash band. People will argue with me on that though. I won't argue with you, but i'll disagree. IMO Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets are thrash. Songs like Whiplash, Fight Fire With Fire, Damage Inc., Metal Militia, Trapped Under Ice etc is great thrash! Justice wasn't thrash and the Black album and beyond, well, i'd just rather not go there. But early Metallica IS thrash. |
