Danish metallers PYRAMAZE — whose current recording lineup includes ICED EARTH singer Matt Barlow — have issued the following update:

"The work on our new album, 'Immortal', was completed today at 11 AM in Denmark. We are extremely happy with the outcome, and we are now ready to share a few clips with all of you loyal fans who have waited patiently for a little taste of the new stuff. We therefore give you two clips of the new album, with a length that is good enough to give you a fair feel for the songs."

One word: wow! Barlow sounds just as good as ever! It's absolutely incredible to hear that voice back in metal again. In my opinion, Barlow is the best vocalist there is, and this new material certainly doesn't change that.

I can't wait to hear the rest of the album, and the new Iced Earth album :kickass:

i like this guys voice - never listened to Iced Earth before , might have to check some out , but I wouldnt go as far as saying he is the best vocalist there is, but he is pretty good.

Mitch is just a fan boy, but he is very good I think. His voice suits and adapts to the tunes being played so well. His voice evokes so much emotion. He's pretty talented.

Yep absolutley amazing! I may even travel overseas to see Iced Earth when possible as they will never come here. Love em to death! ;D

^Yeah but Barlow has already stated he just had another kid and will only be doing some concerts locally and not too far off for travel.He also has a career and family life I can't see him travelling to Australia for a big tour...but then who knows. I still would love to take experience in a diff crowd/country it would be unbelievable. ;D

Fingers crossed that Barlow realises Iced Earth touring Australia is more important than any police force hahaha!
