fair enough.... if you sell out not just one but TWO nights and get fans traveling interstate to see you, it's not really the smartest idea to never come back, is it? Exactly!

BLIND GUARDIAN INTERVIEW on SCREAMING SYMPHONY On Tuesday, February 6th Screaming Symphony (www.screamingsymphony.com) will have an exclusive pre-Australian tour interview with one of the biggest power metal bands in the world - Germany’s Blind Guardian. This is the only pre-tour interview the band will perform. Having risen to the very top of power metal, Blind Guardian have become so much more across their 20 year history. Vivid, imaginary music has attracted fans from all walks of life with music inspired by the fictional works of Tolkien and Moorcock as well as traditional legends and epic fantasy storytelling. With little press, particularly in Australia, Blind Guardian’s brand of heavy, epic power metal dominated by classic fast guitars and double bass drumming have endeared them to fans the world over. 2007 will be Blind Guardian’s first trip to Australia. Nine studio albums, two live albums and one of the finest DVDs ever released (Imaginations Through the Looking Glass) – Blind Guardian are set to storm Australia playing two shows only at the Forum in Melbourne in support of their album A Twist in the Myth (2006/Nuclear Blast). == www.blind-guardian.comOfficial Website www.screamingsymphony.com 10pm-12am Tuesday Nights only on 106.7 PBS-FM (Melbourne, Australia) also online via www.pbsfm.org.au. www.justsayrock.com.auTour Promoter __________________ www.screamingsymphony.comProg/Power Metal Radio Tuesday Nights 10pm-12mn 106.7 PBS-FM (Melbourne)

NEWS FLASH WTF? Who do they think they are Maiden Metallica? They are not that big ticket sales are still selling, Metallica sold out in 2 hours. This makes mad and not want to go now, read story!!!!!!!!!
We have just been advised that we have been granted an in store signing with Blind Guardian. However, there are many strict rules, most of which we do not like, that we MUST abide by in order to have the in store. The following conditions are forced upon us and they were not negotiable in any manner. For us to have the in store, the following had to be met by Metal Mayhem; We have to hire a minimum of 4 security guards; There has to be no more than 250 people permitted for the in store signing; There will only be 1 hour to a maximum of 1.5 hours allocated by the band for this signing session, in which all 250 people must be in and out; and finally; Each person must buy at least 1 Blind Guardian CD of their choice on the day for the band to sign. Now, we urge you, DO NOT send us your complaints, I am not even in a state to answer them and sorry to say, we will not answer them. What we will do, and the way that this will work is in this manner. 1 - We will need your full name and address. Your name will be checked off as you enter; 2 - This will be a first in first served basis on this email and there is no age restriction for people that will be able to attend the in store; 3 - We will either need your Credit Card details or full payment of your item beforehand for your item of choice as this is the only way that this will reserve your place for the in store signing. 4 - We will need you to tell us what Blind Guardian item you want. 5 - WE WILL NOT BE IN A POSITION TO ALLOW ANYONE IN IF THE ABOVE RULES ARE NOT MET. Therefore, if the quota of people allowed for the in store is met, we are not permitted to let anyone else in so do not waste your time and stand outside. The security guards will have strict instructions. Please follow the guidelines above. From previous experience, there is no way that we can get people to buy their item just before they meet the band and thus enable all people to get in and out in 1 - 1.5 hours time, there is not enough time for this to happen. That is why, we will get people to pre-pay for their item, collect it on the morning, well before the in store, and then get them to come back, have their item ready to sign, meet the band, get your item signed and we will all be happy. We have really tried our best on this matter, and we are not in a position to do anything else and these are the rules as imposed on us. Please chose from the list of Blind Guardian titles below. When you have done this, give us your name, address, and either give us your Credit Card details or pre-pay for the item in the store in the next week or so and your place is guaranteed. This is the list; Battalions Of Fear Follow The Blind Tales From The Twilight World Somewhere Far Beyond Imaginations From The Other Side The Forgotten Tales Nightfall In Middle Earth A Night At The Opera Blind Guardian Live Double CD A Twist In The Myth (digi) A Twist In The Myth (jewel case) A Twist In The Myth Double LP The in store has so far been scheduled to take place on Saturday 17th February, the second and last show for Blind Guardian in Australia. We will notify people of the exact time as we know it when it comes to hand. This has been a tough one. Metallic Cheers, Nik
