What dave did was nothing, who cares. I thought it was an aggressive choke or something, sounded he was just acknowledging the guy but just incase the guy was gonna do something he was prepared for it.

Nah, my bowel condition played up. Its been playing up abit, thats why I've missed out on so many gigs. But its all good, you all know why I dont make it to certain gigs now, its not always work.  I hope im well for the Eyefear gig, I'd hate to miss out on that. There should be some videos up soon hopefully, there is also a review thread in the Megadeth forums for the Melbourne show you should check it out tomorrow morning when everyone gets over the rush of tonight. |

Off to megadeth chappies. Sean said all 3 bands were shit besides megadeth, so we're just gonna drink while they are on. I dont really feel like going to tell you the truth, the setlist was pretty shit. NOTHING off Youthanasia (my favourite album), The world needs a hero or the system has failed, and i also don't think they played anything from Crytic Writings (2nd fav album). So i dunno. 4 out of my 5 best albums and all they play is symphony, not very pleased. But oh well, hopefully this is the 2nd night, so they change stuff around.

Looking back, the setlist isnt that bad. Rust In Peace and Countdown to Extinction albums mostly, along with the new one. Considering Washing is Next is the only song i like off the new album that they played, i was pretty bored during some songs. I hadn't drunk at this gig either, long time for me at gigs, maybe thats why i didnt enjoy it as much. Who Knows? I can't believe they didn't play Trust or She-Wolf, like two of my F**king favourite songs. I really like Return to Hangar as well, but oh well. The setlist deserve atlest a 7.5/10, but i dunno, i just wasnt feeling the vibe all night for some reason, so i give them 6.5/10. I was forced to watch Devildriver and Static-X cause there were no passouts. Lets just say, it was the funniest thing i've ever seen.Guys in the crowd topless thinking they're tough lol. During Static-X's set i must have laughed to myself through every song lol.

Yeah Static X are a joke, but i don't mind Devildriver.
Yeah those sweaty stinking pissed shirtless yobs can be a right pain in the ass at times, well if their moshing to Static X it speaks volumes about them.
Bummer about Megadeth Stormster, i've ben to gigs to see bands i love before and have found myself yawning.
I even once fell asleep midway during a Mick Jagger concert!

Yeah sands, the way i see it, althought i disliked devildriver more, atleast they are musicians and have passion and stuff. From what i saw with static x, they just seem lame. They had alot of dance music mixed with the heavy stuff. I dont really think they got a passion for it, just doing to as a living, thats just what i got from it. I liked megadeth dont get me wrong, but nothing will beat their 2005 show. Maybe thats cause it was my first metal show.
