www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=78416MEGADETH's traveling festival tour Gigantour will return to Australia in November for several shows. After the success in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane last year, Gigantour will also be taking in Adelaide and Perth for the very first time. In 2006, Gigantour creator and MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine promised, "It is going to be something to look forward to each year, to see what kind of tremendous talent we can assemble, for Gigantour festivals in the years to come." Gigantour 2007 Australian lineup: MEGADETH STATIC-X DEVILDRIVER LACUNA COIL The dates are as follows: Nov. 10 - Perth, Metro City (18+) Nov. 12 - Adelaide, Thebarton Theatre (All Ages) Nov. 13 - Melbourne, Festival Hall (All Ages) Nov. 15 - Sydney, Luna Park Big Top (18+) Nov. 18 - Brisbane, Riverstage (All Ages) Tickets go on sale on August 23. ...BORING!!! F*** at least have some good bands, besides Deth.

jesus to come out so quickly after the last one I think I would be bringing out better bands than that.
It doesnt even get me remotely excited even seeing Megadeth again.

jesus to come out so quickly after the last one I think I would be bringing out better bands than that. It doesnt even get me remotely excited even seeing Megadeth again. I think he's only choosing these bands for the money factor. Since their all "mainstream" bands, they'll draw in the most cash since alot of younger people enjoy the music more. Since RR pretty much took over Dave's reign of the Gignatour, we'll probably see alot more shit bands in the future. Not unless they throw Opeth, Type O Negative or even Fear Factory on the bill. I'm not saying RR are shit, but alot of the bands are. He could have chosen alot better bands to have on the bill. But alas, in the end it always comes down to money and how much they can take from us. I dont really care anymore, alot of people on the Deth forums think im havin a whinge. But what they dont realize is that we dont want these bands. Fullstop. Everyone is saying "Ohh, you should be happy their coming down". Well no shit were happy, just choose a decent band instead of these shitty one hit wonder bands. It's hard to get through to so many Deth fans, cos they all think their personal friends with Dave and they take anything as a attack towards him. They need to realize that this show is about music and metal in general, not to see how much cash they can rape from our wallets. I mentioned they should at least choose one or two Aussie bands for a starter, so the Gignatour wouldn't seem like a Megadeth show with 3 support acts...cos thats what it is pretty much. But again, they cried and they said Aussie music is crap. Well, one said that. But in anycase, they should seriously mix this up.

If the tickets are over 40 bucks I won't go. At least there was Arch Enemy as well as 'deth last time... this time though... only Megadeth i'd really be interested in seeing.

They just deleted my Gigantour 07 Rollcall on the Megadeth forums. What the F**k is going on? Can't they stand abit of criticism or are they changing something to the shows, this is really weird. No one really has been that excited since the news came out. Hopefully they put some real bands on the bill.

I wont be going. I wish Megadeth would just do their own frigen tours. I don't wanna sit there for 4 F**kin hours waiting for megadeth to do a somewhat low profile show instead of a full headlining 2 hour show like the 2005 concert and previous ones. By the way what or who is RR supposed to be?
