Watto you're a champ, but everyone is booked out by now man! All the regulars on here are either full or dont live in Melbourne. Try forumule 1, 80 a night, between 3 of u for 2 nights, its not that much.

Depends on timings exactly, staying about 800metres from the arena, on the other end of the road from the corner.

The Corner is a pretty big pub. There should be room I think.
But yeah, you never know, the entire gig attending crowd could turn up there haha.

Ill re post, the corner holds around 900 people, but isn't this meetup originally organized for everyone anyway? I mean all Maiden fans will unite together at the pub, meetup share drinks etc that is what its all about, the more the merrier. I don't want this camera crew back in Europe showing a small lot only, heck we want a huge Maiden crowd show we are worthy ;D

The film crew actually want a big crowd, they said the more the merrier. I agree with them, if you want to show the world how much Australia loves Maiden you do it with massive crowds. They wont think much of us if the people attending this thing will be us from the forums and afew people from the Maiden forums...they want everyone to go nuts. You also have to realize that not everyone will be at the pub, everyone will still be at work, at uni or at school since the meet up starts at 4pm. We wont get a massive crowd til later in the arvo. Anyway, I originally wanted this thing to be huge, even though the Corner hotel only hold 1000 people not many are going to sit around drinking, they'll want to go crazy for the cameras then head back to Rod Laver. I seriously doubt that the 12,000 attending the Maiden shows will rock up at the Corner hotel, thats just insane. lol! But at the same time, will want a decent crowd to show off on camera and to the rest of the world when they see the DVD. Things are still being worked out and I actually didn't get an official word from the Banger team or Triple J about announcing it on air. But since it is a well known radio station they would have had to have confirmation from the film crew first before saying anything. I just hope they acknowledged me and my friends who helped me out when they mentioned it on the radio. I sent a letter to Andrew Haug since I assume he annouced it, I'll let you all know whats going on once I hear back from either party. Cheers P.S.
