I'm keen to get a Maiden meetup organised for Sydney or atleast starting to get some ideas discussions around meeting locations. I don't really have much of an idea around pub locations in Sydney, but maybe we could meet together before/after the concert in a pub near a train station so we can all catch the train to acer arena. Imagine shitloads of Maiden fans crashing the trains. COME ON SYDNEY!!!!!

Good idea... we should get one of the Canadians to start up a Brissy meetup thread as well. Last time I was in both places I was but a wee lass.

The problem is, the only pub i know of is the NOVOTEL - and i dont know much about it. Research it. The place/hotel is called NOVOTEL - its in HOMEBUSH in SYDNEY - in OLYMPIC PARK. So if a couple of you wanna research it then go for it!

this thread speaks volumes about how dull Sydney is. Problem is that the venue is in an isolated area of western Sydney. Which brings me to ask, what's the parking situation like out there if any at all? Cos I couldn't be F'ed traveling via public transport from the central coast. I may have to park and get the train from Lidcombe / Homebush / Strathfield or something

You can prebook parking with ticketek (i did for GnR) and that was a good thing because all the close carparks tend to sellout before the actual day. I'm pretty sure the P1 carpark is the closest to Acer Arena.
