FROM APHILLIS: Just got back from a meeting with the licensee at the Glenmore Hotel. The booking will be no problem what so ever. Need to confirm this within the next 2 weeks on approx numbers. We have to have a minimum of 30 people to book our own space. The Minimum spend to reserve an area is $1500.00 Aussie. 30 would do this no problems. To exclusively book the whole floor is $10,000.00 Aussie. We would need 150 people to do this. They have an offer of $40.00 Aussie per head for as much beer / wine you can drink in 4 hours As part of the deal above. To achieve the minimum spend. Food $30.00 Aussie per head for a BBQ. Had a good look around tonight and this is the pick of the Rocks… As I already new.. Friday Nights in Sydney get very busy in the City & getting into any where is a bastard. Not sure.... I think for bbq only is $30 and for bbq, beer& wine is $40

$40 bucks say $3 a pot a beer, how much are pots these days? That's 13.3 pots no way I would drink past 4 beers unless its something fancier than a pot lol. (Give me whiskey or scotch Id go more than 4 haha) Hmm what is going to happen to this meetup in here then?  |

This was just another idea to throw into the mix to see what people thought of it.
I think these guys have booked out the beer garden just for the Maiden fans or something, all you can eat and drink for 4 hours.
Just something to think about...

(Give me whiskey or scotch Id go more than 4 haha) Hmm what is going to happen to this meetup in here then? wasnt troops gonna have a bdu bbq ? no way am i gonna pay 40 bucks for a bunch of beer i probably wont drink or 30 for a bunch of bbq i wont eat on a stuck up trendy awful part of the city . i went on a ghost tour in the rocks a few months ago and the look i got from the tour dude when i mentioned i was from penrith was like i had leprosy - would hate to see the way a bunch of people in maiden gear would get treated in there. Fukk - id host a bdu bbq on the friday if people were able to get out my way ( and if the boss let me ) |

I got BBQ area, i can kick my parents out for a day, some1 else just has to cook cause i got no clue. I actually am not sure if the BBQ works. And im closer to the city than trooper and skrabs, altho not that much closer. I would be up for this,, but got no clue where glenmore is, and if half of u arent up for it then F**k it.

MATE ID LOVE TO HOST ONE but thing is its not my house, im suprsied my parents were kool with mitch staying here. If my parents werent here id throw one straight away but i just dont know. If someone else can host it that would be awesome, otherwise my thing will be something organised like a week before the gig if it happens. And if i have a bbq ur bringing ur kiddies n karen.
