It was good to have a win in the first game but that refeering job was absolutely pathetic, this guy put on a worse performance than Simpkins does!

He was just leinient with the penalties. Whoever the ref was in the final last year missed 3 or 4 obvious calls, the penalties are just a matter of interpretation, and how far he wants to let things go. If its the same for both teams, its fair, in the grand final, it wasn't fair. Hate to see the Broncos lose Lockyer, F**king shits me.

He was lenient with THEIR penalties, not ours. I don't think he's ever heard of consistency. And there were some really dodgy calls in there, like one of the offsides against us. How the hell is it offside when the person who it was called on wasn't even in the play!

How the hell is it offside when the person who it was called on wasn't even in the play! if it was the try that went to video ref and king was ruled offside, it was spot on - he went within 10 meters of the ball BEFORE the kicker regathered it and put him onside. The reffing was a bit dodgy in places in that game but I think he was trying to be bit like Bill Harrigan who would normally try and keep the flow of the game going rather than blowing the whistle for every minor infringement. Panthers V Sharks tonight and Im not even gonna be home to watch it will have to stay off the net till i watch it when i get home!

Mitch, skrabsta is exactly right about the offside. It was spot on and shouldnt have been a try.
The panthers man...?

less said about the penrith game the better. Wallace had better be dropped and Firman brought in. Just like to say that the knights bulldogs game was one of the best games of football I have seen in ages. Also - if it had been anyone but Andrew Johns that was stretchered off Williams wouldnt have been sent off,but any team with only 12 players should have been able to beat the knights without johns and buderus. the dogs got a good lead then tired out too early in the 2nd half, still a F**kin great game of footy!
