Manly $1.80 Favourites, Storm $2.00 and the underdogs. Should be a cracker. As i said, Manly deserve to be favourites. If both teams play like they did on the weekend, it should be a cracker. The only difference, as i said, was that the Shraks player shit, whereas the Warriors were played as good as they were allowed to. I don't know how good the Storm will play against a good team against Manly, coz they played such a shit team in the Sharks. In saying that though, we beat an on fire Broncos. Will Hoffman be fit for the final?
Also if Brett White gets charged its a disgrace. Dunno if you know who Phil Gould is Mitch, but everything he said today on the footy show up here in Sydney i agreed with. Cameron Smith was made a scapegoat, and everyone so many players do bad tackles in the same vein as Cameron did. Eg. Stuart Webb on Heath L'Estrange a few weeks ago. Cameron Smith was unfairly made a scapegoat out of, coz he's a Storm player. Im not saying it wasnt a bad tackle, it was. But, if you're gonna penalise him, penalise everybody, otherwise keep it fair and dont make him miss a grand final coz of it. Skrabsta will no doubt jump in and say he's a dirty C***, but what Phil Gould said today of the Sunday Roast was so true.l And this chicken wing tackle is bullshit. It's all unfair on the Storm. Either penalise everybody, or penalise no one. Don't just penalise the Storm.
If either Brett White or Matt Geyer get called up to face charges at the judiciary ill be pissed off. The NRL have a hard job on their hands, but if we jump back to the Smith incident, they cant change the way they look at incidents 2 weeks out from the final. Its F**ked. Maybe this should have been a post for the rant thread, but im not really angry, just think its a bit of bullshit against the Storm.
By the way, Brian Waldron is the best CEO. Oh, and $50,000 fine for Bellamy for stating that Cameron Smith was F**ked over and that the judiciary was influenced? A bit much. I agree with everything Gus Gould said today. He's a champ.

Yeah I know who Gould is, didn't see the footy show though. I agree with what you said though, Smith and the Storm in general certainly aren't the only ones to do those tackles. And for us to get penalized for it, especially at this time of the year with our bloody captain!, is ridiculous when so many other players/teams have done it throughout the year with not an issue.
Should be a cracker game though, I'm not as confident as last year, it'll be a close game methinks.

White led with a raised elbow - he deserves to be sighted at the very least. At least he did it to Ross - I hate that C***.
Smith was no scapegoat - he was charged with unnessasary contact with the head or neck - which he did, twice and add the fact that it was the 2nd time in the season he has been charged - 2 weeks was nothing, should have been 6.
Have a look at the tackle again without the rose coloured glasses,
oh yeah - Waldron is a big fat twat - his fine should have been tripled because of how much of a douche bag he is.
