So you used to play with Dean Ashton? Man whos ur team! Do you go for Norwich? I wish and you got it? Ashton is a star in the making and he was at the Canaries, Crouch was there too, Sutton also, Green just got sold to West Ham (just like Ashton), even bloody Bellamy played out in the East, not that you would wish him on anyone now! NCFC, 2 Nil down at the 60 odd minute mark on the weekend and we scored 3 in 14 minutes to win the game. Perhaps we can head back up at the end of the year and then I can see them live on TV again.

Alan Pardew has spoken of his disappointment at the news that Dean Ashton will miss the start of the new Premiership campaign after sustaining a broken ankle in training with England this morning. The Hammers boss says: "We are absolutely devastated. It's a massive blow for Deano and his family, and for everybody here at West Ham United. "We are extremely disappointed by the news but, on a positive note, we still have four quality strikers at this club, which will suppress the blow somewhat. "We look forward to a speedy recovery from Deano and hope to see him back in action very soon." Damn, not a good way to kick off the new season

The Hammers have kicked off the new season in fine fashion For the second year running, West Ham United came from behind to grab a tremendous 3-1 victory on the first day of the new Premiership campaign. After Darren Bent had given Charlton a first-half lead from the penalty spot, a double strike from Bobby Zamora and a late effort from substitute Carlton Cole on his Hammers debut completed a second half comeback that mirrored last year's opening day win over Blackburn Rovers. Up The Irons

Yes the Hammers did do quite well, must be all those first class players they have just signed. Did Green get a game in goal? As fo the yellows, well they drew against Derby Nil all, sounds like they dominated though, especially in the 2nd half. Although if you don't take your chances it doesn't matter one bit. Bit like last year really, god I hope not. Last week we score 3 in 14 minutes and are named Championship team of the week and the next week we can't find the net. Oh well.

Did anyone watch the Man U vs Fulham game, gee Man U looked good.
Fulham on the other hand were not great, but I suppose letting 4 goals in the first 20 minutes could do that.
Final score Man U 5 - Fulham 1

So did you watch the Hammers match? I got up for Everton v Blackburn today! Was a pretty good match, especially when substitue Timmy Cahill made his way on to the pitch!
