Australia were too good and the rest of the world was too average.
The overall standard of world cricket is nowhere near to the standard as it used to be. It's almost laughable these days.

Australia seems to be the only consistent team at the moment... the others can put on the odd good game... but then they fall in a heap...

yeah i was thinking along those lines hogg seems the obvious choice but he tends to struggle over 5 days.
dan cullen hasn't kicked on.and bryce mcgain from victoria is 35 -36 yrs old ,i know that worked 20 years ago with dutchie holland but that was a different era.
macgill even though his last game wasn't the greatest ,had always performed prior to the last test
