I would LOVE to see some local talent, Alchemist support, that would blow my mind!!! So it's Alchemist for me!! Exactly what i was thinking.....ALCHEMIST!! Why, because they deserve it. They've been together for over 10 years and done all the hard yards without a lineup change (correct me if i'm wrong there Beetle) and imo they are the most original metal band to come out of Australia. mate you are correct, no lineup changes, but they now have a keyboard player. They are the most original band ever to come out of this country and every one of their albums is class. They have recognition worldwide yet still play club gig in Oz, very sad. Roy their lead guitarist is a huge Maiden fan also. Man i'd love to see them on a big stage!

The only song i know is Tide In, Mind Out, and when i heard it, well, it was pretty out there to say the least. But i really liked it even though it had soome growling in it. I know those guys have done their share for aussie metal to, so it wouldnt bother me if they got the support.

As much as I love the bands mentioned in the poll give someone else a chance who has never supported International acts.

Good point raised... Alchemist are great, my vote is changed to Alchemist for support, and a random cheap gig by Black Majesty

Funnily enough I have thought about this and the chances are maiden may well bring a relatively large international support with them to ensure strong ticket sales to fill large venues. I would love to see say Anthrax tour with them but that might be being a little ambigious. I would LOVE to see some local talent, Alchemist support, that would blow my mind!!! So it's Alchemist for me!! Not a hope... they have been taking smaller upcoming artists on tour overseas in recent times... they are probably cheaper to pay... I think some/all of them are on sanctuary for promotion as well...

It was wishful thinking..oh and Arch Enemy aren't on Sanctuary, neither are Trivium, they toured with them, although Trivium was in the US only and are a US band.
