If you want to have your rant about abos go ahead I am sure we are all racist in some form or another. Just going by the majority of people *most* think the abos get away with murder* and they do!

One thing i've always thought was fecking ridiculous is that in some of the test/exam things at school, there is a part that says "Are you an aboriginal or torres straight islander?". Like what the hell seriously! Race shouldn't mean anything, that's like downgrading all the asians because they are generally smarter! It's crap.
Meh, I don't think there are any at our school anyway haha.

Since we are talking races here. Another thing that bloody pisses me off is all those Poms that were complaining about the aussie beer slogans.
For those that don't know, there was some beer company recently that were using slogans such as "It'll send a shiver down the Pom's backs". Because it was an english beer and obviously, we serve it cold, unless them who serve it hot. That is pretty much the whole story, there were a few slogans revolving around that. They started the slogan's because of the cricket, obviously.
And all these Poms cracked the shits because it's racist and blah blah f**king blah. DON"T YOU PEOPLE HAVE A f**kING SENSE OF HUMOUR.
Then they started on how the word Pom is racist. DO YOUR BLOODY RESEARCH YOU MORONS! Aussie's shorten most nationalitys (poms, wogs, japs, kiwis etc). It's not a bloody bad word, it's an abbreviation! f**k!
/end rant.
Oh. and I know not all english people are like that.... just the majority.

That story about the death is too heavy for me today... ...but I'll happily rant with you about Paris! I was just thinking yesterday how depressing it is that it seems the way things work is to flash your boobs and you get stuff. Does anyone fight for a noble cause anymore? she is just Mr Hiltons niece and has come out to make more millions. All my male friends can't stand her, how can she be so popular...oh yeah that's right flashing boobs thing haha  sex sells I'm afraid to say. She isn't even attractive, unless you like horse shaped heads and she sure as hell shouldn't have been in a Night Vision movie, it was utter garbage!!! If she is meant to be an actor, why didn't she? Thank god she can earn money for being a no-one coz she sure as hell couldn't earn a real dollar, if you know what I mean?    |

Also, Where do you draw the line between an offensive abbreviation, like, the sort of abbreviated version of the old term 'negro', which today, the correct term is "african american", and abo, and the ones that are less offensive - Pom, wog...
I guess alot of it depends on the context it's used in, but i mean, the abbervation of "negro" is easily a racist term, which is why i'm not actually saying it.

^^ Half of that crap is all because of the government and the media they control tergeting it.
Like not long ago, there was all this 'controversy' about the Fairy penguins at phillip island. And the gay community wanted the names of the penguins changed because fairy is another word for homosexual and they didn't like it. It's F**king ridiculous, and what's worse is that the department of whatever that runs all that animal stuff actually considered it! It's F**ked. The goverment and it's departments need to go "Stop complaining and get over it" instead of enforcing ridiculous laws (like political correctness) at every little complaint they get.

if a race wants to call themselves by the slang ( ie wog is used freely by greeks and itallians - some have even made a living off it) - Pom is ok - i had friends who just moved out to the country and they didnt care abo is abit like the slang version of negro - its only ok to use it if you are one.
but to keep it all fair best not use any i suppose - we could have aboriginal members who take offence at it if aboriginal is too long to leep writing use koori - which is what they prefer anyway.
Racism lesson over!
