Not a REAL rant, but far out, this one's about uni.
Im looking at all the unit outlines for next year, like holy F**k.... It is gonna cost me 16K next year, and i only have around 2K at the moment.... So yeah, im gonna be in even more debt. But the main reason for this rant is that the workload is so F**king much! F**k! I'm gonna have to stop going to gigs, stop watching tv and footy, and cut down work dramatically. Only two problems with that:
1) If i cut down on work ill be even more in debt.
2) If i dont goto gigs and watch the footy ill be so depressed.

I've looked at all the units i will be doing next year if i get in. They have heaps of assumed knowledge, knowledge from units that i've done but two years ago, so effectively i've forgotten it all. So looks like my holidays til mid feb arent much of a holiday. That and having to work alot more hours, if i can get them. But thanks for the support. Im sure metal will get me through. Went fishing up on the NSW Central coast today. I have two complaints.
Firstly, when i am fishing at a spot, please have the courtesy:
a) not to F**king grab my bait and empty it out of its container (i was about 10 metres away from it in the water fishing, the bait was on an unsubmerged island of sand)
b) not to F**king swim in the same place where i am fishing, especially when you decide to swim on my right hand side, which is where the current is taking my line very fast, leaving a good chance that the person swimming would be hooked or tangled my line.
NOTE: The same person committed both of these F**king things. Honestly, some people just don't have brains, and i left it at that. If he obviously didnt think that emptying smeone's bait and swimming in their way isn't a tad rude, then they are either a dumbF**k or just don't care about others in the slightest.
Another thing that pissess me off is this. I took Amanda and her family fishing. All i planned to do was catch and release big fish, doing them as little harm possible. The aim was to just catch, expose Amanda and her family to fishing a little bit, then throw the fish back. But these C***s next to us, 2 mothers with their kids ranging from 5 to 15, kept catching these little yellowtail bream, ranging from about 6-7cm to 15cm. What did they do? Even though the legal size limit is close to 30cm, they kept throwing them in buckets, allowing them to die. For what reason? I don't know, but i presume to eat them. Furthermore, we over heard one of the kids saying "aren'tthe too small," to which the other replied something like "who cares" or "yes i know but who cares."
I tried ringing a fisheries officer coz this shit pissess me off. The more little fish u take out of the ocean, the less chance there is for big fish to survive. You need to kill 10 little ones to give you the feed of killing one big one. Anyways, unfortunately the fisheries offices were both closed, so i left it at that. I so wanted to grab their bucket and throw the fish in the water (some were still alive), but Amanda and her parents didnt want me causing a scene. I also wanted to tell them off, but again, they didnt want me causing a scene. F**k it pissed me off.

I havent got the energy to rant, so this will be short but to the point.
At the very start of January i got a letter from the Universities Admissions Ce nter saying i was unsuccessful in getting into the course i wanted to get into. This is despite my marks being very good, and me following all the steps outlined by the main person in charge of the school of psychology. Since then, I have been referred to many different people, people who refuse to help or refuse responsibility and just send me off to someoe else. Or, these people are on leave until the start of february. This is bad coz my registratioons for classes is NEXT MONDAY!!! So wat thast means is that if i do manage to get into my course (which i shud coz i did everything asked of me), then im gonna have shitty classes if its not ready by next monday, coz all the good classes will be taken up. So my days will have a lecture at 9am, and a class at 5pm, because all the good classes will be taken byu students who were able to enrol in time.
I am supposed to contact the HEAD OF SCHOOL. When i finally did in late january, the guy, whom everyone had been telling me to contact, said he had relinquished adminstration duties in 2009, and toi contact someone else. FFS! Ive contacted this someone a week ago, still no reply!!!

You have: a) Do the courses you DON'T want to do this year. or b) Take a year to work, do some travelling, have some new experiences and get everything planned out to do the exact course you WANT to do next year. A year does pass by pretty quick Adrian, have a good think about your options.  |

I know, if i dont get in ill probably work.But it F**king shits me that its their mistake, and i may have to be delayed a year. I wanna get out of uni ASAP, i want to start working in my profession. But yeh, if i dont get in, perhaps and overseas trip will b planned.
