This is some shit news
Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley's previously announced Australian tour, which was supposed to kick off on October 19 in Melbourne, has been postponed until next year. An official statement regarding the matter is expected to be released later today.

...and now this Original KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley was due in Australia next week for three shows. However, Australian promoters advised today that the tour will now be postponed until February 2010 in order to accommodate the artist schedule and the newly added tour dates. When the tour does reach Australia, it will be in an expanded format with extra dates being scheduled in Perth and Adelaide due to overwhelming demand from Ace fans in both of those cities. Ace was due to perform at Melbourne's Palace October 19, Sydney's Enmore Theatre on October 20 and Brisbane's The Tivoli on October 21. Ticketholders can hold onto their tickets, which will be valid for the new dates — due to be announced shortly. Alternatively they can seek a refund from their ticketing agency. I thought this news wouldnt be taken so bad by yourself Sands. You always complain that funds are tight, atleast this gives ya time to save for this one. Gotta tell my brother of the news. He was contemplating going to the Sydney show.

He was contemplating going to the Sydney show. I already bought my ticket a couple of weeks ago, just dissapointed as this was the first concert Tania and i would of seen together in about 5 years. I'll just have to hold on til next year. It's all good  |

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley's "It's Ace Down Under" tour is now scheduled for February 2010. The East Coast venues remain the same and all tickets bought for the October tour are valid for the rescheduled February shows. Due to overwhelming demand, dates have also been added in Adelaide and Perth. Also planned is an expanded setlist, including some rarities, for Ace's fan base. The Spaceman promises the shows will be worth the wait. "I made [my new solo album] 'Anomaly' for my fans, and the response has been incredible," Frehley says. "I've never toured Australia as a solo artist, and I want to pull out all the stops." Frehley is currently considering adding his biggest Australian KISS hit "Talk To Me", as well as the never-performed "Dark Light" (from KISS' "Music From The Elder") to his set. Ace also plans to reschedule his Japan dates after "Anomaly" has been released there (December 9 via Universal Music). Fans who had tickets for the October shows and are unable to make the new dates can obtain a refund from ticketing agency. New dates are as follows: Feb. 01 - Perth, Australia - Metropolis Fremantle Feb. 04 - Adelaide, Australia - HQ Feb. 05 - Melbourne, Australia - Palace (formerly Metro) Feb. 07 - Sydney, Australia - Enmore Theatre Feb. 08 - Brisbane, Australia - The Tivoli Tickets for Perth and Adelaide go on sale on Monday, November 2 at 9:00 a.m. from www.redanttouring.com, www.heatseeker.com.au, www.ticketek.com.au or Ticketek 132 849. When i was 7 years old all i had on my wall was posters of Kiss, mainly Ace Frehley ones and all really good Kiss songs were always the Ace songs. So last night i absolutley went apeshit and felt like i was a rebellious 10 year old again. Great night indeed.  |
