Has anyone here heard it? I had massive issues with the official maiden website and cant find any info about the new album, although apparently its all been revealed now! I went to youtube and listened to the new track. I LOVE IT (only one listen mind you) - the old 'gallop' is back in this song.  |

I had troubles downloading it.
Must be huge traffic trying to grab it.
Listened to it once as well. I like it.
I think it will be a grower.
Can't wait for the whole album....bring on August 16th!!!

Love the cover art, and love this song, has Bruce/Adrian written all over it. Hopefully the album follows suit.
Was hoping for some shorter tracks but hey what ya gonna do?
This is a heavy song man, cant wait to hear it in full stereo!

Beetle I think the days of Maiden writing songs < 4 minutes are long gone sadly. However, I agree I love the riffing in this song, and it doesnt feel like a near 7 minute track at all. Will be great live.

I've got the mp3... I am hoping it grows on me... have given it about 8 listens and I dont hate it but it isn't an instant smash. I find the verse a bit one dimensional... the chorus is so "up" I currently kinda feel like it is 2 songs put together.... Don't get me wrong, not trying to bag it, just my initial impression. I love the album cover... its no DOD though....  |

I'm liking it, got a bit of a gallop to it. Kind of hoping its the weakest track from the album (seeing as its FREE). If that's the case the album should be a ripper ;D  |

I liked the album cover as soon as I saw it... but the red blood drops look added on after...
The song is definitely growing on me... which is a good sign after about 20 plays! haha

On the guitar solos... do all 3 amigos get a go? Sounds like AS, then DM and finished off with JG sections to me?

Will if H had a lot to do with the writing and with Bruce singing that is likely to be expected to a degree, but given Harris' input as well and the galloping bass line at max it is a cross between the two |
