There's a teaser on the main page at ironmaiden.com full video being released on July 13 or something? Anyway.... sounds promising....  I am getting extraordinarily excited now about the new album.. only 5 weeks to go! |

I have to say that it didn't excite me to see more... just made me hope that it is better than the preview. I am sure it will be, but I didn't get excited over the preview.

Well that is the coolest video clip Maiden has ever released. The track has obviously been massively edited cos' Im sure 'TFF' is listed as a 10 minute track or something and the track only went for 5 minutes so I will hold back on what I think of the song until I hear the full track. Sounds promising.

Sounds promising. Well the full title for the song is 'Satellite 15....The Final Frontier', so i imagine the missing 4 minutes will be the Satellite 15 part, which will probably be a big intro. Hard to really hear the song with all the film clip noise over the top... but I am just a little worried... Well just over 4wks until we get the album and can then hear quality recordings etc and see what the boys have really cooked up this time.

Just listened to it then, not sure what to think of it really.
It wasn't shit and it wasn't great but it didn't really grab me by the balls either.
Sorry Troops, i like the chorus it was the versus i found pretty dull, it's such a cliched boring riff, you got 3 guitarist there, i just wish they would utilize it a bit more instead of 3 guys playing the same riff.

Don't like the track. It's not quite as mindlessly boring and uninspired as El Dorado, but it's close. The sound effects over the top are shitting me too. Meh.
Hopefully some of the longer albums tracks are a bit more epic and progressive ala AMOLAD.

I agree with Sands - I'd give it like a 5.5/10 or something. The chorus gets me but for the rest of the song I'm just waiting for the chorus to come - a tad boring really. I agree with Mitch too; El dorado and this new one are below par and I'm waiting for the longer tracks. Maiden's longer tracks never really dissapoint me.

Heard it on The Racket last night, through my stereo without the annoying sound effects. Production sounded good and i think there is acoustic guitar in the background through the verses. I like El Dorado better but this tune could be a grower
