n acknowledgement of the 25th anniversary of the release of their seminal album "The Number of the Beast" and the tremendous International success of their recent album "A Matter of Life and Death", Iron Maiden's forthcoming June dates in Europe will go under the banner of A Matter of the Beast Summer Tour '07. The band will be playing 5 songs from each of these albums plus other fan favourites and will be taking out a full on stage production which will include the final appearances of Eddie's notorious tank!!
Says vocalist Bruce Dickinson; " Its always a lot of fun for us to play outdoors in the summer. It tends to be a different vibe to playing indoors, much more of a party atmosphere so its good to put together a set list that matches this. There has been a lot of interest in the 25th anniversary of the release of Number of the Beast so we thought it would be great to give the fans a bit of extra Beast this summer to acknowledge this"

Another gimmick to make even more money, I'm really getting sick of Maiden. Torrent for the win, I won't be spending money on them anymore. They can F**k 'emselves.
If they think they're so good, because you know they'll record a live show somewhere with a shitload of the same old fans that see them every year. They should play something different for a change. Because really, their live show is getting really bloody boring and if they think we should buy another live album which has 75% of the tracks released on the previous live release, they can again, up 'emselves. Play stuff like Invaders, Quest for Fire, Back in the Village, some shitty Blaze songs with Bruce, etc. DO something DIFFERENT.

I agree they should spice up the setlist, the "fan favourites" will be the usual Trooper,Fear,Wrathchild,2 Min and one of the singles off 7th Son (bet it won't be Infinite Dreams). Won't matter to me because i won't get a chance to see the F**king thing!

Matt, if they play the songs u mentioned, there will be the same F**king uproar there was about the AMOLAD songs. I think the set they play now is alright, but i do wish a couple of older songs were mixed around abit.

It wouldn't be the same as AMOLAD, these are new songs that don't ring any bells or hold any nostalgia, I can guarantree, if Quest For Fire or Invaders was played, people would go off.

My point is people wouldnt remember them as much as the older ones in there currently.I like the new stuff tho, so i aint complaining. But i agree, wish it was mixed around abit, but at the expense of the new songs? No thankyou. Take out Iron Maiden, Beast, RTTH, Wrathchild, and put in those ones you mentioned.
